I agree 100%..If he continues the style that was against Pulev we will see a new champion soon enough.
He will bore us again very soon.

Yeah Wlad tossed a few challengers around, and yeah he holds and pushes similar to Lennox Lewis did, and on offense as well (Emanuel Steward trained both of the 2 big Champs to do that: Use size and power).

But when fighters come charging in on Wlad, they simply get Knocked Out.
It's been that way for 10+ years.
Wlad has been taught how to hit and not be hit. And he hits with a HUGE punch in either hand.
It's frustrating to watch at times because of his caution/defense...but he can either outbox or one-punch KO anyone in the Heavyweight division right now.

He's actually fought many American boxers in the USA:

Calvin Brock
DaVarryl Williamson
Lamon Brewster
Jameel McCline
Ray Mercer
Charles Shufford
Dave Bostice
Phil Jackson
Carlos Monroe

But he makes more money by boxing in Europe, so he hasn't been fighting in the USA lately.

Looks like this fight is on for September or October.

Who will win?

We seem to have more than one thread on the same subject. Fury wins a very, very easy fight by decision or late stoppage. He keeps it at long range and slowly busts up Klitschko. Fury's last two fights have been practice for doing just that - keeping it at long range and wearing his opponent down. It's about discipline and not getting into a tear up. I know Chisora and Hammer are much smaller than Klitschko, but they were big enough for target practice.

"Fury, I have pizza face for you"

"I don't feckin like pizza you big stiff idiot"

This. Build-up will be far better than the fight. Fury will get stopped before the 6th.

...except for his age and reach advantage, I'm not aware of anything else that might make Fury competitive...

Perhaps the confidence of youth. He's never been stopped or even beaten.

I don't think confidence will help him too much once he starts tasting wlads power, he is technically weaker with less power and less experience, basically he doesn't stand a chance outside of a total fluke.

Wlad within 6 rounds

He was beaten pretty clearly by John 'McDonut' McDermott in their first fight.

It wasn't clear at all, it was a close fight. He had McDermott turning his back late in the fight, the ref should have deducted a point for it.
