... the same way as Geale defeated Golovkin and Caparello defeated Kovalev.

Jennings lacks a big punch and is still a developing product. He makes a lot of amateur mistakes in the ring given his late start to boxing. I give him next to no chance.

Jennings has to overcome the size issue, that's been the downfall of a lot guys. It takes great skills and the size to beat someone like Vlad.I like Jennings, but not for this fight.

Just curious - has a Wlad opponent ever tried to get him to agree to random drug testing?

Very often, old fighters lose to younger, talented, ambitious boxers. A recent example of this was Inoue defeating Narvaez.
Wladimir is getting older and he's never been invincible. Jennings is a quick, athletic, physically fit, technically-skilled and ambitious young heavyweight with a 3" reach advantage over Klitschko.
I think Bryant Jennings is just reaching his prime in 2015 and he will upset Klitschko to become world heavyweight champion.
Jennings is a good solid fighter but he can't really punch which is going to be a big problem against klitschko, cause Jennings is not going to out box him. I see this fight being similar to when wladimir knocked out the unbeaten Calvin Brock

Povetkin tried but only after contracts were signed.
If I were an elite fighter I would never get in the ring without testing.
But that is just my opinion

Jennings is okay and barely earned this shot with the questionable win over the tough Cuban Mike Perez. But hell be lucky to win a round from Klitschko or last past 8.
Hope K2 makes Briggs vs. Perez for undercard, that would be interesting.

Jennings is bigger than most HW champions of the past.
He's as tall as Ali and Holmes and taller than Louis, Liston, Holyfield and Jack Johnson. And he's much taller than Frazier, Langford, Tyson, Dempsey, Patterson, and Marciano.
He has a longer reach than Louis, Ali, Frazier, Holyfield, Patterson, Langford, Marciano, Tyson, Jack Johnson and both Klitschkos.

This is like a AA baseball team taking on the Detroit Tigers or San Francisco Giants for the world series. Or a regional novice tennis player or golfer taking on a world champion. A draw with Mike Perez doesn't impress. Give the guy a real chance to compete. Lets see him really dominate some of the guys rated in the top ten before throwing him in against the best. He's still learning.

Jennings is easily big enough to beat Wlad. He doesn't possess the skill set though. Not even close.

I doubt that. Jennings is decent enough to make things interesting until Wlad bombs him out.

Someone of Jenning standing would be risking losing his big shot if he starts making demands like that
To demand the main man in the division does a drugs test, you have to be in the position where Wlad needs the fight and no fighter on the planet comes into that category for Klitschko.
Is that right? No, but it's the reality of the situation.
Maybe if there's a unification with Wilder next year that could be hyped into a mega money fight, then the question could be asked.

I can't even imagine how boxer with weak punches like Jennings would be able to beat Klitschko.

I highly doubt that Jennings beats Klits because he isn't exactly a power puncher so he will have nothing in his arsenal that will make Klits have to respect him. All Klits has to do is throw his jab out there and keep Jennings going backwards and he'll win a UD or TKO.

If the bout actually takes place (apparently it was never a signed deal) Klitschko has opened as a beefy 16-1 favorite.
He was only a 6-1 betting choice when he dissected Pulev a few months ago.
If Jennings falls out as the opponent, it would only make sense for the new challenger to be Briggs, considering that the bout will take place at the Barclay Center in New York.
Don't worry that Klitschko-Briggs would be an ugly mismatch. With the phony video wars the two have engaged in during the past 6 months, this bout would be promoted in the Big Apple as another Ali-Frazier epic. It would be a sell-out.

Roc Nation and Gary Shaw Combine. so Jennings fight is off, they will try and win purse bid vs WILDER/stiverne and likely make Jennings more money although 75/25 split. purse bid will have to be $5m for jennings to make more than wladimir fight

We can only hope.
The quicker we depart this lackluster European era of the heavyweight, the better it is for boxing.

If European heavyweight boxing is here to stay, complete with the mundane Pulevs, Povetkins, Prices, Glazkovs, Charrs, Ustinovs. et. al, then boxing will truly die in the U.S.
Nobody here wants to see these guys, nobody cares about them. They're all interchangeable. No excitement, no charisma.
People, not just hardcore boxing fans, cared about the sport back in the 90s.
It will wither and eventually perish if the current hierarchy remains.
A Wilder victory is imperative Saturday if the sport is to survive.
