Povetkin has no good wins over big heavyweights. I think Wilder beats him easy, but you could argue 50/50 here.

This would be a great fight. I think this is about 50/50, I'd favor Wilder very slightly based on styles.
Tony Thompson beats him on points.
Thompson's one of my favorites, but there's no way he wins on points. He'd have a chance at a KO, though. Still, Wilder would have to be favored fairly significantly here. Tiger's past his prime.
In shape Odlanier Solis destroys him by KO.
Solis hasn't been in-shape since he turned pro.
Mike Perez also KOS him.
Perez hasn't looked good since he fought Abdusalamov. He also isn't much of a power puncher. I'd give him very little chance.
At this point I feel Oliver McCall, Bobby Gunn, and Brian Minto are 50-50 fights (lol).
At this point I feel like you have no idea what you're talking about (lol).

It sounds like Wlad's team is saying if the Jennings fight goes as planned, they hopefully can fight Wilder or Fury. I hope he fights the winner of that fight.
Wilder vs Fury right now in my opinion would be the biggest selling HW fight out there. There is going to be a ton of hype and smack talk between the two giants, by their giant mouths. The winner facing Wlad may be bigger yet, who knows.
As far as a rude awakening, it could be Wilder, Fury, or Wlad. It will be fun to watch it play out.

Povetkin is vastly overrated in my estimation, but so is Wilder after he snatched up this title so who knows there.
Tony, Odlanier & Mike are too old, too fat & too small respectively to beat Wilder imho.
The other sh!t is insanity.
I think Fury loses to Wilder, Fury can't really punch for shit, and has poor footwork, and a questionable chin ( we don't know about wilder's yet admittedly) - and Wilder I think, despite the poor competition, hits harder and is the better athlete.
Wilder is probably a head above the rest of the crop, but still knee high to Wlad.

im chnaging my mind i think wilder may beat povetkin now if he keeps range. povetkin is world class and a monster. has amazing record after wladimir
but he does gas in last 6 rounds usually
i think wilder povetkin is more 50/50, in past leaned toward spovetkin

That sounds about right. Wilder needs a lot more experience before he could realistically have anything more than a punchers chance against Wlad.

I don't envisage Deontay Wilder going anywhere near Wladimir Klitschko until mid 2016 at the earliest, because I think now that the Americans have a heavyweight champion of the world. They are going to want to keep the WBC belt over there for a little before the truthtelling against Wladimir K occurs.
That means he could end up facing Chris Arreola (who has already had two gos at winning a title). Possibly Tony Thompson which is a match up I would like to see. Or maybe Artur Spilzka. Who knows?

Fury is his best option if he's looking for a good payday. Big and clumsy with a fragile chin and mediocre power, the only realistic chance Fury has against Wilder is if he turns it into a wrestling match/mugging as he did against Cunningham after he realized he was outclassed by the aging CW. And Wilder will be a little harder to mug since he punches a LOT harder than Cunningham.

Wilder has only been in the ring with one top-30 boxer and on that occasion he won a unanimous decision against a much smaller and out-of-shape opponent.
Klitschko should beat him quite easily. I think Tyson Fury would too and maybe Hughie Fury.
Anthony Joshua looks more composed and a better boxer. David Price punches just as hard. Lucas Browne is just as big and apart from Stiverne - has beaten slightly better opposition.
Wilder is big enough and punches hard enough to beat all of the above. Then again, the same could be said for the other guys, and most of them look like better fighters to me.
