Who in earth is going to fork out for this bollocks!?
Regaridng him being lucky etc, well he is to a degree, his old man is a very shrewd man who has done very, very well for himself and his family. Worth remembering that Barry wouldn't just hand over the reigns to any div though, son or not. Eddie is clued up, don't doubt that for a second. Good luck to him. Especially if he can find anyone willing to pay more than £2 for an evening with him!
Just because his old man has dough people look upon him as some kind of upper class, silver spoon fed, toff. He is still from working class stock.

He's also just teamed up with StubHub, so will be selling his tickets twice, sometimes for five times the face value.
That shouldn't be allowed.
If you've got tickets you no longer need, it should be a law that you should make no more than face value for them. Or maybe face value & p&p/service charges.
Okay, you buy a ticket for something and can no longer go, you want to make your money back and give somebody else the chance to go. Fair enough. But buying a ticket and selling it for five times what it's worth isn't on, and shouldn't be allowed.
And he tries to claim that no tickets are sold to touts
The board should step in at this point, they won't do, but they should stop any association with stubhub by Hearn or any other promoter.

Sounds a bargain - will he be bringing his old schoolmates? Mark Wright, Arg and the rest of the gang (not Jodie obviously) ......

I thought matchroom didn't sell to the secondary market

They are not hiding it now, in fact they were advertising it on the toberelones around the ring.

I would rather stretch my testicles out as far as I can with both hands than listen to anything Eddie Hearn has to say lest alone having to pay for the privilege.

I'd love to see his face if he turns up thinking his arse will be kissed, and somebody asks him that.

One of funniest threads I've read in a while.
£200 to meet Eddie Hearn indeed... What a whopper

Is this some kind of joke?! Why would someone want to pay to spend an evening with a promoter? Perhaps if it was Don King but no one else!

It is quite strange, innit?
Dan Dares (of this parish) & I were on our way back from Fury-Chisora II & talking about how funny it was that people in the game were talking as if punters were now "fans" or followers of promoters, rather than fighters, & how bizarre, fucked-up & generally unlikely that was... & sitting on the night bus next to us, this dude pipes up:
"I loves me Eddie Hearn, me, I'd go to any show he'd put on."

Deluded guy, I wouldn't speak to him if I saw him in the local shop, can't be doing with him and struggle to believe there is a market for the Eddie Hearn evening
