Because of a flaw I see in Floyd that nobody has fully taken advantage of yet.
I always laugh when I hear this about any fighter. But I really laugh when I hear
it about Floyd.
Don't you think someone in 40 plus fights would of capitalized on this.
Or is your boxing IQ just better than all the fighters and trainers who have faced him?

Finally! the fight that us fans has been waiting for

Even though both fighters are not in their younger years as Boxers, they both are still on top of the fight World as athletes. Im going out on the edge her and picking Manny pacquiao to win this fight by a split decision forcing a 2nd fight that will break all fight $$$$$$$$$ records just the way Floyd planned it lol!

Fighters have, just not fully, like I said. Named 2 of them, and there's more. Nobody has been able to finish the job though.
Cheers

Honestly, i don't know. That makes this a great fight.
I know its 4-5 years too late, but its still the best fight for boxing today.
as much as i love THE FIGHT …

… i am afraid it won't be very competitive. certain
type of fighter ages earlier and i think manny is that
type. floyd's main assets have always been his defense
and his ring smarts. these last longer than explosivity,
which was pac's top card.
i hope manny does not get embarrassed in this one. i
doubt he can win and i do not think i am the only one
thinking that.

i remember years back freddie thought floyd was the
easy for manny, but he sounds like he has not much
hope. not exactly great ingredients for a great camp.

Pac looked fresh enough in his last couple of fights. If he gets dominated it would be due to floyds skill as floyd has dominated all his other fights. But pac has alot of talent and a better chance to pull off a win than anybody else.

I think floyd is taylor made for a smart fast southpaw, when rights are thrown at floyd when he's on the ropes he tends to shy away and drop his head behind his left shoulder, perfect pickings for a barrage of left hooks, floyd had huge issues with Judah for 4-5 rounds then Judah ran out of puff, pacquaio would run rings around Judah for movement and won't run out of puff

I think Floyd will use the lead right to deter Manny from his In-out flurries, but it will maybe take 3-4 rounds for it to really start working.
Floyd's going to throw it hard and often, and by round 11 Pac will be feeling the force and maybe even hit the canvas.
116-113 Floyd with Pac taking 3 out of the first 4 rounds.

Pacquaio will be initiating from floyds LHS, that was his fatal mistake against Marquez, I can't see him making that mistake twice

You don't? Manny made the same mistake twice or more in the same fight with JMM.
Floyd has so many weapons, and is probably the most technically sound boxer in our generation. The only way he loses is if he gets old over-night. I think people underestimate Floyd's heart too. He will find a way to win no matter how close it is. It will be interesting to see what kind of game plan Roach will come up with. Whatever it is, it may work for a while, but he knows more than anyone that if it does work, it will only work for a while.
Floyd is going to have some sore hands after this one. His jab and straight right will be the key, imo.

No sh!t!! Since the confirmation / announcement I have had a family member, friend, and employee proudly inform me that "MAYWEATHER VS PACQUIAO IS ON MAY 2!!!!" The only two fighters any of them follow are Pac, FMJ and whoever they are fighting.
Then, I go to the local seafood joint for apps and martinis, with the most beautiful woman the planet has ever produced, and I overhear multiple conversations going on about it, "Mayweather was finally forced to fight Manny. He's been afraid of him for years."
Great for boxing. I love it.

I don't think either fighter wants to let this get to the cards. I think that FMJ will be coming in looking for complete domination. He does not want to leave his 0 to the judges in a fight of this magnitude v a fighter of Manny's stature. FMJ will look to leave absolutely no doubt in this one.
Pac does not have the same at stake here. One more loss v the greatest boxer on the planet will not mean that much to his legacy, although a win would be monstrous. Manny has far less to lose.
As a result, FMJ will go for as close to a skunk as possible and will get caught by a sneaky left hand. If Manny is lucky, FMJ will not go down and Pac will have his chance to finish him. More likely FMJ will take a knee and proceed to beat down Manny by around the 6th.

He's got one fight left after this one. After he barely beat past-prime Pacquiao by SD, i want him to stop cherrypicking & fight Golovkin.

Mayweather by decision.
A slowed-down Pacquiao will be flummoxed by the sport's preeminent master boxer.
All those years ago, I remember him being puzzled by the boxing skills of Agapito Sanchez and Erik Morales.
Pac may have improved since those days, but not enough to upend an ATG boxing stylist.
Incidentally, opening odds have Mayweather a rather solid -275 favorite. Pacquiao returns +225.
Both fighters are listed at +550 to win by KO. However, Mayweather is a rather heavy -175 choice to earn a decision, while Pac is +550 to gain the verdict.
The overs/unders line is 10.5 rounds, with the overs being offered at -350. A winning bet on the fight lasting under 10.5 rounds returns +250.
If you think the judges will call this one a draw to set up a September rematch, you can get +2200.

Doesn't mean as much when you consider Floyd seemed puzzled by the simplicity of Maidana

Pac's not the punching buzzsaw he was in his younger days. Maidana will prove far busier than Manny will on May 2.
When the 36-year-old Pac stops punching, as he often does nowadays, Money will tattoo him with straight rights all night.
Roach is counting on Pacquiao to outwork Floyd, capture the judges' attention and steal a decision.
It may have been sound strategy and worked 5 years ago when Pacquiao threw more often. It won't transpire in 2015.

Floyd would want to be light on his feet, I can see him getting peppered in the corner for quite a few rounds otherwise, cotto caught him easily and maidana did as well when pinned to the ropes, pacquaio will do much more damage to floyd in that position than those two did, he is also a lot more accurate with his shots
