I like Lara, but please no one honestly thinks GGG would be in ANY TROUBLE with him do they? GGG would beat his a$$ badly -- and I like Lara way more than Golovkin. As a fan, that is. GGG is too strong for Canelo, who would get dropped multiple times if not knocked out cold. I see Lemieux fighting him, then on to bigger boys. Chavez will prolly fight him sometime, and end-of-year fight with Ward would be nice!! And not likely

Probably won't happen, but a man can dream.
everyone reasonable knows how this one would
end and no one, who likes miguel, can want it.

You could say the same about just about every other possible GGG opponent as well, except maybe guys in higher weight classes like Ward.
Murray was able to land some solid shots. If he had Cotto's power maybe it would have altered the fight.

But how would cotto deal with the shots... He might have more snap and power, but does he have the durability that murray showed. Amazing heart by the way. Respect to murray for keeping fighting the loosing battle. He'll be in grave pain the next few days.
Im puzzled why peoople keep saying ggg is a big mw. He aint is he ? Murray looked bigger than he did !
Cotto looks to small imo. Does he have the reach to connect vs ggg ?

Are you saying that WW Cotto has more power than Murray ? Yes, Murray is not a big puncher, but he is so much bigger than Cotto.

The only challenging fights for golovkin are @168 vs ward or froch ,froch would get a beating and a half and ward would be closer and show us if GGG can break down a class fighter like ward.
I think canello gets stopped and Cotto would be a horrible beat down ,never want to see that fight

He's probably not THAT much bigger. Obviously this is speculative but I would put Cotto around 165 these days and Murray around 170. Maybe a 5-10 pound difference. And of course Cotto has always been a MUCH bigger puncher for his weight.

Of course Cotto can get weight to 165 or even 200. The question is about his natural frame. Even compared to Golovkin, Murray has a wider frame, and he didn't seem to have an extra gram of fat on him -- pure muscle. Beside that, he is 5 inches taller than Cotto. He would destroy Cotto in the ring.

I honestly doubt that very much. Murray is too slow. To beat Cotto you need movement and hand speed.
