I'd say Kovalev stops Froch. As I said earlier in the thread - the way Pascal reacted to Kovalev's power was frightening, this was a guy Carl couldn't put a dent in over 12 rounds. Combine that with Froch's awful defence & his willingness to trade, and the outlook doesn't look good for our international superstar.

Regardless, Froch certainly doesn't need to fight Kovalev at this stage in his career, the risk/reward just doesn't stack up. Hopefully he gets a big payday against a (relatively) easy opponent, then enjoys a long & healthy retirement.

Looks like I missed a quality battle.

I've been looking to Ward for quite some time as pretty much the only man who can tame this beast. How much longer is this inactivity going to last though? It's getting ridiculous.

If Groves can put him on his arse...I'm pretty sure Kovalev will do the same...difference being Kovalev will finish it in my opinion.
