Brooks conditioning
Re: Brooks conditioning
From Colin jones sparring Brian Anderson (for prince Rodney) the Wincobank firm are very meticulous with details. Sparring prior to a big fight is very tricky-get someone too good and your man has a bad day sparring him and his confidence is dented, poor sparring and it costs him on the day. Clinton got the Mark Baker job at ten days notice cos Starie had got done in sparring and never looked back. Micheal Watsons broken nose just prior to the first mccallum date meant by the time it was rescheduled he had been out of the ring for a long time which doesn't help vs a PFP fighter. Tony Booth while capable of the odd upset was area title level was regularly in Tenerife with Nigel Benn. Horses for courses I suppose
