It's not the same situation.

Having caught Eubank's recent fight with Chudinov this morning he looks like a beast. I see him developing into a strong athlete and with Snr there to coach him - even tho they come over as a bit strained - I can only see Eubank getting better, so - who will go further out of him and Saunders? I think Saunders is the better boxer but he will need to be tip-top fitness-wise to dominate Eubank - who appears stronger to me - should that fight materialise down the line.
If it does happen, what sort of timescale might we be looking at? How does Andy Lee's fight tonight impact on that - as there's talk of a match-up between him and Saunders also?

Lee vs Saunders should be next.

There is no way that a Saunders vs Eubank rematch should happen before Saunders fights for the world title.

Is Billy Joe Saunders ready for Andy Lee, who has not been sensational of late, by accounts?
If Saunders did manage to beat him, does that set up a Eubank rematch for a world title? I don't think it benefits Eubank to be boxing at that level yet as he seems to have two decent names on his record - Saunders and Chudinov - one of whom beat him.

Fair enough on point one, but I meant if Eubank were to take Saunders then he might get put in the firing line at world level. Having said that I've got the rankings here and Jermain Taylor holds the IBF title - Soliman - Cotto - Martinez. Not spring chickens. Maybe still too much for Eubank however.
This WBA champ Daniel Jacobs I don't know anything about - and Eubank holds the WBA Interim strap.

I think it's worth the risk for Eubank.

It might be coming to soon for him, but he should be able to rebuild if he loses.
