The bill is comparable to this one (but not as good) and in a similar way, no way worthy of PPV

To be fair there was a time Kell really struggled with Carson Jones and Frankie looked fantastic v Denton Vassell.

I cancelled Sky Sports after Bellew/Cleverly and have just kept Allegedly. So I’ve saved plenty every month in not paying for Matchroom’s usual tripe, meaning I don’t mind paying when the occasional PPV comes around.

It should be a good night’s boxing, I can afford it, so why not…..

We need some solidarity on the issue or we'll suffer the same for years to come, I think most of us can afford the money but some feel it's becoming a major and reccuring issue.

Say you pay for four PPV events per year. That might cost you circa £80.

Many of the same folk who complain about this are still seemingly happy to pay £50 for a ticket to see some millionaire perverts run around a football pitch for 90 minutes, £20 for a Dominos pizza, £4.50 per pint in a pub, or £20 entry into a sh1tty nightclub.

My point being I can think of various everyday things that are much more of a total rip off and yet hordes of people still do it without much thought.

Would I rather PPV didn’t exist and all boxing was free to air? Too right I would, but in the grand scheme of things I can think of more pressing matters to worry about.

Its a major issue in the 'bubble' of watching boxing on TV. I feel affronted by the PPV encroachment, what used to be seen as necessary to see the highest talent or the biggest and most attractive matchups is now a routine demand that is not on top of a free to view platform. I waste all sorts of money on silly things but once I realise I'm having the piss took out of me I stop and find something else to squander my cash on.

I understand that others don't feel the same and best wishes to them, to me it's not that I'm tight fisted it's that I feel taken advantage of.

A decent point, but punters with Sky don't pay per match to watch these millionaire perverts.

Also these perverts are global stars, generating a lot of cash for their businesses.

It's a relative point - but If you can't see the difference between Mathysse-Providnikov on subscription, Pac Man - Mayweather for £20 (one of biggest fights ever) and £20 for Kell Brook vs a no hoper (on top of subscription prices) then you might as well argue that a Buckley vs Hamed rematch is worth £20

I think I paid about £20 once when I went to a God's Kitchen event in Birmingham, but that was an all-nighter with about 8 top DJ's. Other than that, don't think I ever paid more than a fiver to get into a club.

Its because of the overpaid footballers why sky costs an arm and a leg anyway and with the new 3 billion pound deal sky have signed with the premier league our sports channels will go up again,its pricin me out of sky tv tbh especially with ppv,bt sport and bn thats an extra 28.50 just for bt and bn then add these ppv's its gettin out of control and only us the fans can put a stop to it by not buying these ppv's,fair enuff may 2nd is ppv worthy just the main event alone but may 30th isnt a ppv event and with all the belts around today a world title means fornicate all lets be truthful about it
