Honestly, I think he will end up bigger than people are even thinking now. He's young, and has already been in with the absolute best. Even though he clearly lost to Floyd, it'll forever be a MD loss to the p4p number one. He's building an awesome legacy and he's no where near 30 year.
It was supposed to be a wide UD. One incompetent or corrupt judge can't change the fact that he was humiliated by a smaller out of prime boxer.
He lost to the p4p best at 23 years old. Thanks for proving my last sentence.

The physical numbers are almost the same apart from age.
On the night weights are unavailable.

For 2 minutes Kirkland pinned Canelo in corner,
For the last minute it was all Alvarez.
Kirkland was knocked down and on rubber legs throughout the last minute,

10-8 Canelo

Round 2

Canelo has the power.
Not looking good for James.
Bottom line is both have power but Canelo can take it and Kirkland can't.

2-0 Canelo

Kirkland looks beat in the corner. Canelo should stop him soon, every decent shot he lands stiffens his legs.

BUT, Kirkland's power is still very apparent. Saul's gotta be careful or he's going to catch a big one.

Canelo has some BIG and exciting fights on the horizon. GGG, Cotto, maybe Pac or Floyd II.

Interview with Canelo.

He's thankful to his fans.
Says both of them were tired prolly due to intensity although he didn't looked too tired.
Is he interested in Cotto or GGG ?
He pretty much said he's open to anyone.

Interview with Kirkland.

Thanks god.
Says he kept his left down and got caught with a shot, not making excuses.
What could he not overcome with Canelo ?
Didn't really give us a clear answer.
