Have you seen the video of Lennox Lewis trying to teach Wilder the correct way to throw a jab? Wilder is still a work in progress.

There is no reluctance. They have not heard from Povekins team, and made it clear they won't wait. They want to fight often. Any fight is good if you want to stay busy.

Not if they are title fights. Even in this day and age paper titles should at least have a little pretend credibility. But if he just wants some more KO wins over cans then I agree. It builds his hype which makes sense from a financial standpoint.

None of that means Wilder is reluctant or scared to face Povetkin. Are you going to produce some actual evidence?

I won't disagree but whats the likely hood Parker would take a world class level fight right now. Not likely that's why I say imo why hes being mentioned. Even though Molina is better that Minto and Williams and neither of those guys would have went 9 rounds with Wilder and didn't Williams lose to Holifield fairly rececntly

To me I would rather see Wilder fight an up and comer, a guy with talent, then the boat load of guys that are past their best. Wilder vs Joe Parker, Joshua, Lucas Brown, Pulev, Jennings, or if he has to fight a guy that farts dust that is still tough, Thompson.

Wilder's fight vs Molina was crap, he looked like crap, but I do think he fought down to the competition, so to speak. I would prefer to judge him more accurately vs a much better opponent. We all know top guys that look like crap against guys they should dominate. More common than we would like to admit.

Who knows how many rounds either would have went? Neither have been knocked out in the first round like Molina has...twice!

Parker, even a young untested Parker, is a much better opponent than Molina.

Wilder might not make the ratings up but the organzations sure do. Unless your me or you who knows who Parker is. I bet Parker not in a rush anyway look at his next opponent

There is a report that Wilder will fight Andrzej Wawrzyk, who is supposed to fight TBA tomorrow (fight isn't on BoxRec). Wawrzyk is coming back from a long layoff after a serious auto accident.
