It was an honest mistake that *most likely* didn't change anything. Nobodies a POS, calm down.
Honest Mistake. 10 seconds is ten seconds. Bradley was out on his feet.

Tim has been notably hurt before but never stopped, so I doubt that Vargas would've finished him in those final seconds and even if he scored a KD he would've lost on points. Also keep in mind that Vargas didn't hurt him right as the ref stopped it--he hurt him prior to that yet did virtually nothing of significance in his follow-up.

I doubt the result changes if they rematch.

Yes, honest mistake. You don't hand out lifetime suspensions for honest mistakes. Maybe Vargas should have fought smarter for the previous 12 and 3/4 rounds rather than getting thoroughly dominated?

I think Pat Russell is a good ref and he simply made an honest mistake. No way Vargas was going to stop Tim with only 7 seconds left. The decision was never in doubt. No need for a rematch.

Noone wants to see that fight again. Whats the point? Whats the intrigue? Yes Vargas was robbed his 10 sec but he had 12 rounds to do something and he looked a complete shite. This things happen, get over it.

BTW cant help thinking whether Vargas would do better had he stayed with Roy rather then changing the trainer before the biggest fight in his carrier.

he was right after that shot, but had recovered somewhat and was blocking shots
and holding when the ref broke them up. definitely not a guarantee that vargas
would have landed another shot like that and there was less than 10 2nds left.
i'm pretty sure bradley would have survived and he had not been down yet so
he would have gotten a chance to get up if he was knocked down. in britain
different story

Honest mistake really. The ref stops the fight when one fighter is out on his feet. All he needed was one more punch. The stupid ref denied Vargas. 10 seconds or 7 seconds. Honest mistake my A**

He wasn't going to land one more punch. Tim evaded his punches after the initial punch that rocked him. I'm sorry that Tim winning has upset you so much. Maybe you should go cry yourself to sleep.

Will never know will we. So the ref was right to deprive Vargas of 10 seconds actually by the time he got there it was seven. The ref was competent and right..Yes or No..

bradley was very careless at the end of the fight.
the last round he was pretty much mailing it in.
obviously he didn't expect to get blasted like that but he had his hands
down and was leaning into the punch so he was probably seeing stars.
surprised he stayed on his feet but he recovered enough to survive even
if vargas had a few more 2nds. it probably most liely made no difference.
it only gives vargas an argument that he had a small chance of erasing
his horrible performance. bradley needs to invest wisely and start thinking
about how many more concussions are worth the money if he can't enjoy
retirement.

What makes you think that Vargas only needed one more shot? Bradley was clearly hurt against Holt and Provo but didn't get stopped when more time was remaining, and Vargas already had some time to follow-up before the ref stepped in yet he did little of significance. No one knows for sure what would've happened, but I am very confident that Bradley would've last the distance.

Macho,

He was not out on his feet. Not whatsoever. Have you ever seen Bradley fight before? Apparently not.

Is Vargas one of your homeboys or something?

Seriously. You must be joking. Even Kellerman and Ward said Bradley was out on his feet. Watch the replay..

He was out for a split second but that does not a knockdown make let alone a KO.

Ramming Speed was under control. 10 seconds was not going to make a difference.

Vargas has only himself to blame. He gave up too many rounds. He was NOT getting Tim out of there in 10 seconds, period.

Bradley was definitely out on his feet.

Do i think vargas could have ended maybe or maybe not.

But the matter of the fact is Russell fuucked up big time.

In a nutshell Russell basically saved Bradley from possibly losing.

Bradley got hurt not because of Vargas' power, but because he turned into the punch.

And even then, he was out only for 2 sec, then went on his bicycle and held.

No way Vargas gets a stoppage. :shame:

And a knockdown on the scorecards wouldn't have affected the result anyway.

But isn't it funny that when Pat makes his huge blunder, Tim stands there asking WTF was that ?
Out of the 3 men in the ring, Tim was the one in laland but still had a better grasp of the situation than the other 2 .

Firstly I thought it was all in all a mostly dominant display by Bradley,i had it 117-111,Tim fought aggressively and was busier throughout, Vargas just wasn't busy enough or strong enough to keep him off

Fair play to Jessie landing a right hand like that so late in the fight, it showed despite not being good enough he never gave up trying

The ref made an honest mistake and unfortunately there's no room for error, especially so late in the fight, maybe 67 year olds shouldn't be Reffing 12 round championship fights,I've no issue with his stamina but maybe his hearing isn't great,if its not his hearing that was the problem then he must have panicked because if Bradley wasn't reeling then the fight would've finished without incident

If it was panic stations from Pat Russell then someone of his experience I expect better
