It is now Boxrec law that Del is crap because Tyson beat him easily. The other law that's been passed, is Tyson is terrible, because he took a count in a fight he won by knockout.

Of course, he could have a resurgence, but in truth, he's not really looked good since the Vitali fight. Maybe the annihilation by Haye took a lot out of him psychologically.

Chisora has always been about as mobile as a steamed pudding and is slow as hell - and he's got less mobile, and ever slower - and has become very easy to hit.

I'd like to see Joshua in there with someone with genuine ambition, someone who has a career trajectory heading upward, rather than down the shitter.

I think people are writing off Chisora a bit early. I'm not saying he'll be Joshua, but to write off his lack of motivation might be a bit premature.

2 fights ago the guy was European champion. Since Fury 1 - his weight has been consistently good.

Yes, he was DIRE vs Fury, but I do think the gym talk of illness played something into that - plus Fury was also very good that night.

Just because Fury beat him easily it doesn't mean that he is finished. He was most likely well under 100% in that fight as well.

Chisora is still a consensus top 15 ranked heavyweight and he dominated Joshua's current best opponent less than 18 months ago.

To suggest that Chisora is not a good opponent, considering that he would clearly be the best opponent that Joshua would have faced so far, is a bad opinion.

Maybe he was ill, if not though his utter lack of ambition and actual effort is concerning.

I'm always ready to be proven wrong. However, my opinion currently is that Derek's heart isn't in the sport.
