Whats in it for Eddie?

Eddie wants to see BN go to the wall, Fwank wants to see Eddie's exclusivity deal with Sky go belly up. The competition isn't just about nicking each others fighters or beating each other to the next prospects turning pro.

If BN goes to the wall I don't think Fwank would ever recover, and I don't think his sons would ever get a proper foothold in the sport over the long term. Meanwhile, Eddie's dominance rests upon the exclusive deal with Sky.

Fwank needs big events to draw new subscribers to BN and lord knows he has put a lot into getting Fury onside and to a world title fight. Both these promoters have good and bad points and whilst I'm not totally negative about Eddie I think he's being a cxxt by talking about signing Fury and by suggesting he might be putting in a purse bid. Its a business at the end of the day and he can put in a bid if he wants but I can't help feel he is just sxxt stirring. He was at it with Avalos earlier in the year, which I figured was sxxt stirring aimed at McGuigan.

I think Matchroom will team up with Sauerland and put in a joint bid

If i was Eddie I would not be particularly worried about BN right now. In fact I tend to agree when he says BN is good for Matchroom. Even if that was the case, I doubt FW would overbid to defend from Matchroom. Simply because he is not outbidding K2 anyways. Only side that probably is worried is K2 here. So that does not add up for me.

Where did you here Eddie talking about signing Fury. If that is the case then I think this is it. Maybe he wants to create publicity around himself and Fury and then aims to make an offer if Fury beats Klit. Or put him on Sky. Imagine the magnitude of Fury v Joshua clash if Tyson is the unified champion.

I didn't hear it, my pal does a radio show which Eddie was a guest on, he asked him who he'd like to sign, he said Fury.

I hope Eddie budgets for triple the security.

Im going with K2 promotions, held in Germany, around $12million... Bit of an obvious borring choice but thats what I think!
