chavez couldnt handle taylor and pernell and lost to both of them, but he is ranked higher than somebody more athletic and faster than both of them (roy)

and lewis beat holyfield & tyson but his behind them hahahahaha

what are you smoking?
Lewis is one of my all-time favourite fighters, but I think there's a pretty strong argument for having Holyfield above him. Holyfield fought more top heavyweights who were in or near their prime and he also fought a more dangerous Tyson six years before Lewis did and beat him comprehensively. Lewis was clearly robbed in the first Holyfield fight, where Evander looked well below his best, but the rematch was a highly competitive fight that some (though not I) scored for Holyfield, despite the fight taking place while Lewis was in his prime and Holyfield was clearly past his. I think Lewis has a stronger resume than Tyson and should be ranked higher, but can understand those who rate Tyson higher because they think he was a better fighter in his prime and would have won in a prime vs prime matchup. For someone who prizes athleticism in boxers so highly and was so impressed by RJJ in his prime, it's surprising you don't think more of Tyson - he had outstanding natural ability.

NateJR you must have forgot about AZUMAH NELSON because any list without him on it is incomplete
I admittedly forgot about Azumah Nelson.. I think a fair spot for him would be somewhere between 15 and 20 IMO.. I also did my list relatively fast I'm sure if I really thought about it I could come up with more fighter that are more deserving than some I already have on the list.. good call though.

That's a seriously high rating of Azumah Nelson, he just missed out of my top 20, although I could easily swap him for Arguello or Mosley and probably should have.
GREATEST AFRICAN CHAMPION EVER WHEN HE WAS IN HIS PRIME AT FEATHERWEIGHT IT WOULD TAKE A LEGEND LIKE SADDLER OR PEP TO MATCH HIM..................I JUST THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE SHORT MEMORIES I DON'T.........YOU ONLY HAVE TO CHECK OUT SOME OF THE TOP 20 LIST ON THIS FORUM TO SEE THAT HE IS VERY MUCH UNDER-RATED AND THAT IS A GREAT INJUSTICE PLEASE GO RESEARCH THE GREAT AZUMAH

I'm proud to say I was the first to have him on my list (admittedly at no 23 of what should have been a 20 man list  )

Strictly speaking, the past 30 years only includes two Hagler fights: Mugabi, Leonard, then retirement. And Spinks only fought 5 times, as his entire light heavyweight career is more than 30 years past. And only Hearns' post-Hagler career should count. And now I feel really old.
