I thought I'd start a thread, so that everyone who is going can communicate about where they are etc over the weekend.

Think it will be a good laugh to get a bunch of us together. All my mates either aren't that into boxing, or have kids and wives who will no way allow a trip to dusseldorf.

I've been on a couple of absolute smash-ups during a boxrec meet - I think you'd be surprised.

I'd definitely have been up for it if I was going to the fight. I'd imagine most lads on here are in the same boat - plenty of mates but many of them are either not boxing fans or too much of a casual fan to go, or missus not allowing it.

Problem for me these days is that if I'm going to a UK fight I want to be close enough to the ring to ensure a better all round experience than watching on TV. That prices a lot of lads with a casual interest out straight away. My worst nightmare is being stuck miles away with a load of drunken football yobs who abuse anybody that doesn't join in with their "walking in a "insert home fighter here" wonderland" song or burns the ear off you all evening spitting and dribbling in your face whilst trying to pass on their p1ss poor knowledge.

Would love to do a meet up before a London fight some time.

Going over with two non boxing fan mates. Heavy lash planned for Friday, steady away saturday arvo, fight, then full on balls deep finisher afterwards.

Just imagine being in the position where Your missus will not "allow" you to go to Dusseldorf. I think I`d be having a chat With the divorce lawyer straight away.

Whatever happened to the caveman type who drank his beer, scoffed his curry and told the missus to clean up his puke when he got home.

No way would I be allowed to Germany!! My missus knows half my mates are mad whore masters and brothel creepers and they regularly visit Hamburg for this purpose! I reckon I'd have about as much chance as getting anal and a snack made than I have going to Germany!

I have a solution for you.

You tell the missus that she has two choices: Either you go to Germany with the aim of releasing some built up tension, or she submits to anal on demand for a month.
