If Michael Grant were to defeat Floyd Mayweather by first round Ko would that mean that Michael Grant is a far better boxer than Floyd?
It would suggest that he's a better heavyweight.

I like this one too:

Fury is a funny guy and doesn't reek of artificiality like David Haye or Anthony Joshua.
Yeah saw that too it looks gruesome. Fury is a great character but I don't think he will be able to keep the belts as i'm sure the orgs will not want him as there champion, I can see them making unrealistic demands (mandatories) that will be impossible to fulfil. He will always be THE man of the division until he gets beat though.

Best thing about Fury's win is that it got the Heavyweight belts out of Germany.

Every pound matters and there is no way on earth that Wlad would have beaten Haye, Byrd, Poovetkin, Mormenck, Chambers, Brewster(Couldn't beat a prime Brewster the first time around anyway) and probably not even Barret if not for that Nice size advantage.

Forgot to put Ray Mercer on that list.
"My boy" Wladimir Klitschko, whom I've never met, was "exposed" after holding the title for 9 year, defending it 18 times in succession and 23 overall at age 39. Every fighter should hope to be "exposed" in such manner

You'd think after ruminating for four months you'd have better material.

And for the record, Haye beat Valuev, Chambers beat Dimitrenko, Byrd beat McCline, Povetkin beat Wach, and Brewster beat Meehan...so maybe there's more to it than just being tall?

And adding Mormeck and ancient Mercer is hilarious. I won't say trollish because I don't want you suffering over the holiday season trying to come up with a comeback.

Will I be excused for replying a week after your reply or do I have some kind of an obligation to reply immediately?

I'll admit that Mercer really doesn't belong on that list.

Here we are coming closer to the core of this dispute, "your boy held the titles for these number of years and defended it this many times and this and that and Vitaly never really lost a fight and neither did Wladimir and claiming that Tyson Fury of all people will beat Wlad is just ridicilous and Trolling" But wait.... wait just one second Tyson Fury actually did give a whooping to Your! boy Wladimir so how can it then be trolling?

And for the record Haye ran from pathetic Valuev for 12 rounds, Chambers beat someone even less skilled than Wlady, Don't get me started on McCline please, ahhh Wach yes... do you have another one? Meehan........ ok and then we also have the great Manuel Charr who knocked out 6'7 Michael Grant. None of this crap counts. There is more to it than being tall and big but size is a great advantage shown by the size of our current HW champion and our last 3 reigning champions.

And as for being exposed I think that getting knocked out three times and only avenging one of those knockout losses after the opponent had claimed himself that he wasn't any good any more that's kind of yeah being exposed big time in my opinion.

Still I can't take the fact that Wlad had the gutts to get into the ring vs Fury away from him, that's very respectable. He didn't need to really, he could have retired after fighting some fraud like his brother did and you fanboys would have kept on praising him regardless of that.
What a load of rubbish. Corrie Sanders was ordered by the WBO to rematch Wladimir after the fight, but Corrie Sanders refused to fight him, he even gave up the WBO belt in order to duck a rematch with Wladimir.
Wladimir only lost to Brewster and Puritty because he punched himself out. Wladimir was clearly out boxing both of them before the knockout.
Wladimir has beat far better opponents than these three anyway, for example Povetkin, Haye and Peter, so your argument is silly.

I've never seen this "claim" before...so some proof would be nice.

What makes your "claim" all the more strange is that Sanders next fight was against older brother Vitali, acknowledged at the time to be a far tougher proposition....sterner stuff.

Almost every single source out there states correctly that Sanders vacated his belt voluntarily in December 2003 so as to concentrate on his upcoming fight against Vitali for the more prestigious vacant WBC belt.

There are some very strange claims made here on Boxrec at times....

You're funny. First Wlad is only good because he's tall, but now there's more to it then that.

Right

And all this "your boy" stuff shows me you may be a little too invested. Colin, is that you?

Why not just own up to your lame bullshit? You were claiming that stating that Klitschko had zero chance was trolling. Something which Tyson Fury has proven to be fat from correct.

Or would you rather tell me about how the K brothers have never really lost a fight, abouy how Wlad is gonna win the rematch, about all the silly numbers that you know of excluding feet and pounds and so forth? Be a man not a tool and just tell it like it is, you are not the first person to make idiotic accusations of trolling, nobody is going to think less of you.
No, I claimed that stating Wlad was not as good as any of his opponents only bigger was trolling, and it is.

I said before the fight anyone counting Fury out was in for a BIG surprise, it's right there in my post history.

Anyway, feel free to continue posting how Wlad is only better because he's tall but how there's also more to it then that. :TU:
