Had Jones up 3-2 but good fight, great finish...Blackwell can't fight like that at a higher level though

Right well, I enjoyed the 75 seconds I actually saw. Good finishing shot.

Cracking finish. Blackwell won't get away with those tactics stepping up.

Boom !! Great shot by Blackwell.

Jones looked good at 22 he can come back. Hearn should put him on Josh Warringtons undercard.

What are Channel 5 playing at? Why show the Hughie Fury fight twice? It was a good fight the first time, but I'd have liked to see Lenny Daws.

I think as its Clifton Mitchell's first promotion he wanted it there in new arena.

Great shot to end the title fight, Damo will be back though future British champion I reckon

I realise it's not good form to quote oneself, but that was pretty damned accurate ...

I knew Damo would outbox him, but wasn't sure he could keep out of the way for twelve, he couldn't....

It was a good fight while it lasted. I hadn't seen Jones before but he looked pretty useful, although he lacked the power to keep Blackwell off him.

I think Blackwell will struggle when he steps up in class as he's still too easy to hit and needs to try and box his way to the inside rather than just trying to walk into close range. More movement needed.

Cracking right hand to KO Jones, another slow start from Blackwell but he gets the W again,i feel sorry for Damon he boxed well, showed some great movement and ability, never having gone past 6 rounds was always gonna be a factor though,Nick just keeps plugging away,id love to see him in a rematch with Khomitsky over longer than 8 rounds

Jones was excellent up to the point of getting knocked down. When he did go down he looked like he hit his head on the advertising boards on the apron, I wonder if that affected his recovery.

I was impressed with Blackwell, he looked good and spoke well pre and post fight.

Good shout. Has he not been on one of Josh's undercards before? Hearn usually picks a few of the best local lads to help shift tickets on those type of shows. Not that Warrington needs help in that department.

Jones can definitely come again. Could do with a couple of stay busy fights to build his confidence back up, then look for some sort of title eliminator. Hopefully Blackwell gets a couple more defences to win the belt outright and Jones gets a shot at the vacant belt.

I called it right just a round early. Thought jones boxed really well just lacked the bit of snap to discourage blackwell. Also fitness as i said previously he started blowing a bit which is credit to blackwell kept coming forward pressing jones. Jones can come again wud like to see him rematch grant cunningham as a cut stopped their fight which was very close. Cunningham recently lost english title shot on cards after a cut. He lost both by a round.

I like "bang bang's" fighting style , sure he takes a few too many , but he's hard as nails and never in a bad fight , he's a really good guy to have on the British scene .
