I've only just realised that the Chudinov fight would be for the "regular" WBA belt, as opposed to the "interim" version. Even by today's standards, you'd had to look around a bit to find a less deserving challenger for one of the "big four" belts.

Dixon Flores (who fights WBC champion Carlos Cuadras) might just be one...that is a DISGRACE and makes Buglioni look like a genuiene contender by comparison

My knowledge of the Nicaraguan bantamweight scene is not what it once was mate, but his record does makes him look like a Matchroom lower-weight intercontinental challenger special.

Closely beaten by Matchroom's Birmingham show earlier this year for me, at least this one had Godding/Corcoran....ie 1 competitive match up.

Newcastle was just as bad too, as was Leeds last October and I'd say Bellew-Cleverly was worse too. Calling it the worst arena show ever is going too far.
