Great fight And I think those score cards were about right. Hope they both make a fortune in the rematch, they deserve it.

Wrong. He was down 3 on 2 cards heading to 11th.

A 10-8 rd 11 and a 10-9 rd 12 would've made 2 of the cards even. And the fight would've been a draw.

...and a majority draw is pretty much the same as loss for the pretender - the belt stays with the champion anyway.

Ok, I didn't understand and calculated round 11 10-7, with 10-8 would be draw as you say.

I didn't think either guy looked all that good.

to compare Huck with any of the top cruisers of all time (Holyfield, Toney, De Leon) is insane. Just a strong guy with poor balance and average speed. Glowacki was probably in the right place at the right time against a deteriorating Huck.
He'll win the rematch if it's in Poland.

Have to give Glowacki credit for one thing. He showed more balls than his idol Tyson ever did, by getting up from a pretty hard knockdown, surviving and them coming back to win in dramatic fashion.

How many times did so-called "Iron' Mike ever show himself to be a come from behind fighter who could overcome adversity. Never.

But I still think it's kind of strange for a guy to have a tat of another man emblazoned on his shoulder.

I felt Glowacki was almost always in the fight, yes he was hit with some good clean punching from time to time and was knocked down.
That's enough reason to raise some skepticism about him no doubt, but to have him that far behind on the cards struck me as way off.
Glowacki was doing the better work and rarely took a backward step throughout the fight, he scored all over the target with straight lefts jabs bodyshots and hooks.
He was durable had a decent chin came to fight and could box, Glowacki was a game fighter and the bout itself overall was very good.

I didn't mean you personally were scoring to be contrarian. Glowacki was definitely in the fight, I had Huck just edging him going into the championship rounds. It was a good scrappy fight, and I don't think more than two or three round lead for either guy could really be justified.

I'm sure the tough Saint Helens boxer, Ian Chantler had a tattoo of Nigel Benn on his back, Benn had stopped Ian in around 12 seconds and Ian was a pretty hard man.
