You obviously only ever saw the Wlad fight.

He beat Valuev and Ruiz who even though both were limited they were world champions.

Calling a 2 weight world champion a bum shows a lack of class and a severe lack of boxing knowledge.
Valuev had full time pain in his bones and already was in pain by simply standing, next to that it was still an unfair lose, Valuev was clearly the better fighter, while he was the worser fighter against the 46 year old in Valuev his match before.

Ruiz wasn't any special, David Tua did a better job against him in his prime as David Haye did when he retired.

I'm still angry at that decision they gave Haye over Valuev. Haye did nothing but run away all night long except for one good punch at the end. As you said Valuev was very sick at the time and after the fight he had multiple operations. The boxing mobsters knew that and figured the flamboyant Haye could put the asses in seats so they gave him the undeserved decision. Haye only had one single heavyweight fight that impressed me, his final one vs Chisora. We'll see how he does in his comeback but I'm skeptical. He doesn't look good in the photos I've seen of him. As for Valuev he's doing great. He is in politics now in the Russian parliament.

I'm. Interested in this phony world championship fight too, mostly to see how Browne performs now that he has trimmed down some.

+1, I can only name 4 persons
Wladimir Klitschko
Alexander Povetkin
Anthony Joshua
and Pulev (and I already doubt about that latest one)

Chagaev would beat, or have at least a serious chance of beating anyone else.
People that would beat Chagaev IMO

Klitschko
Fury
Povetkin
Wilder
Pulev
Ortiz
Joshua

I'm sure there's others aswell.

I think this version of Chagaev will crush Browne. I would be surprised if Browne made it to the 4th round... Big step up in class regardless of Chagaev's age. Browne is 36 himself & has a very weak resume. I think this bogus Regular title fight is a sham & Browne is no where near world class in my opinion. C level at best. He beats a few journeymen & has yet to beat anyone in the top 50.

Browne is garbage. Chagaev wins for sure.
