Acording to one newspaper. Haye desperate for media attention. Its a fight i would love to see but i would be too scared to book tickets incase Haye pulls another sick note. I wish he would just piss off.

Credit where credit is due, he was exciting to watch and powerful. He is a bit of a penis now right enough! Not sure if he'd be anywhere near the same fighter if he does make a return.

He was a very good cruiserweight, but he simply wasn't a heavyweight.
He cherrypicks his opponends very carefull, taking old guys, taking injured guys and decline a match as soon as he expects to lose, untill he could finally touch a big pile of money against Klitschko and after that he cried he was injured anyway.

2 very talented fighters that were ultimately just a tad too short for the big boys

Has Haye's stock fallen that much that he is now hanging on the coat tails of a hot prospect who hasn't even faced an opponent that has hit him back yet?

I know Joshua looks like the real deal, but he hasn't fought anyone yet & is still a novice.

If Haye is serious about coming back, he needs to set the bar a little higher & he needs to turn up to fight too, that would help!

Haye Talks of Unifying Heavyweight Titles

David Haye, finally contemplating making his comeback after a three year absence from the ring, has ambitious plans.

The Bermondsey heavyweight, set to hit the comeback trail after recovering from a career threatening injury has previously mentioned tangling with Anthony Joshua, something Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has dismissed.

But it appears that Haye, who has a career record that reads 26-2 with 24 of those wins coming by knockout, wants to dominate the heavyweight division and unify the division by grabbing the WBC title held by Deontay Wilder and the IBF / IBO / WBA / WBO titles held by Wladimir Klitschko.



Now 34 years of age, Haye accepts that he’s going to have to earn the right to take on the big names mentioned but he feels his age isn’t a disadvantage remarking in the Daily Mail,

“I want to regain the heavyweight championship, and unify all the titles. To do that I’ve got to beat Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschko.

“Three years for me is not so much. I’m 34 years old, 35 soon but I haven’t got that much mileage and I haven’t taken many concussive blows.

“In terms of boxing freshness I still feel like I’ve got a lot left to give.”

That remains to be seen but Haye has to realise it’s all right to talk about your plans but this comeback has to happen sooner rather than later otherwise Father Time will catch him out.

Yeah he also looks pretty heavy and with the constant bags under his eyes I would imagine he's been enjoying the wrong sort of lifestyle for the past three years that one good training camp will not fix.

He would be a welcome addition to the scene but I think most of us have grown tired of his will he/won't he comeback and now don't believe a word he says.

In fairness a lot of us would look like that if we retired from sport 13 years ago with a few million in the bank, at least he's not looking like Gazza.

Agree. Too fast, too powerful. Great movement too. Shame he's so disliked now by the boxing fans but he has brought it on himself.

I have little doubt he would have flattened Fury. Unfortunately you have to turn up to flatten any opponent. You can't do it through a press release.

In fairness to Haye, he was injured. I bought tickets and lost money because of the cancellation, but I'm not angry at Haye, injuries are injuries.

I hope to fight Joshua so he gets retired for good then he and his family can enjoy life.
