- Wlad is getting sick of this and wants to punish Fury
Fury is scared, his overreaction shows hes already lost it mentally, which is ashame as i think he could use his size, reach etc .... Tyson dad is like something out of a Peter Kaye comedy, with the eay he is talking over Wlad etc. .. i think he brings the worse out in Fury and his uncle seems a more positive influence

I see where you're coming from but I don't think that wedge should be hammered in. Regretfully, if things don't turn out too well in Duss, it may be which would be sad.

My God, Wlad is a boring, slimey, factitious prat - waffling on about therapy and helping Fury for 10 minutes of that presser. The PR Myth of him being some wonderful sportsman continues to baffle me. The man has the personality and likeability of a bucket of urine.

The only objective truth I got from this charade was that Wlad looks super lean and fit I think he has been taking the fight very seriously and is in outstanding shape and will be light and mobile on the night.

I cant see fury boxing to a plan for 12 full rounds. If he does he has a chance. He went too far that time with the fighting talk.
Intimidation is for the playground. It wont work on wlad.

I like Fury generally and I did laugh a lot when watching the clips of this. But every single sign is pointing to a spectacular knock out loss for him. I just hope he doesn't implode and embarrass himself.

I started out thinking Fury had a chance with his workrate, reach and unpredictability if he turned up in excellent mental and physical shape. I think it's become apparent over the last week that he's not handling the pressure well and that he's not going to be as well-conditioned as he needs to be.
A shame, but all signs point to a straightforward Klitschko win.

Yet we get the same old shite from his supporters 'Dignified' 'Classy' 'Consummate' etc. Just fack off you absolute bore. I've bet on Wlad KO but I would definitely prefer to lose my money and see a miracle Fury win.

Good entrance by Tyson
but when he does the "hold me back no one calls me a clown" bit....oh my god ...
so unconvincing - he's panicking and looking around for someone to hold him back, and they take bloody ages - Jesus cant they plan these things better ?
Encouraging to see some notables picking Fury to actually win this thing, in the latest boxing monthly, but in that press conference he looks like a man on the verge of a nervous breakdown....hope he gets it together by fright night, I mean fight night.
I think he needs to see a sports psychologist - it can't hurt...

Ali did the same thing with Liston.
And before anyone starts any nonsense I'm not saying Fury is as good or as charismatic as Ali. Just that some fighters love the mind games, Ali & Fury included.
However, I don't think Klitschko will fall for any of it. He'll jab & lean just like he always does.

Yeah its a load of bollox, he gets his big brother to go in the opponents changing room before every fight watching the hands being wrapped (which is fair enough) but then complains AFTER the hands are fully wrapped and trying to stare down the opponent playing mind games, then they will make the opponent wait in the ring for 10 minutes before they come out, that's really fvcking classy..
I would happily lose my Wlad KO bet too for a Fury win.

Was there any reasoning to the Batman thing ('I'm a (caped) crusader against boring heavyweights!' perhaps) or was it just entirely random? so much funnier if the latter. And the fact that it's a really shit costume makes it funnier too

He shouldn't be involved at all. Peter should be left to do everything. He's clearly the brains of the family.
Agree with both of you on that

I don't think he ever really had it there to lose! Definitely verging on Bipolar judging on the things he says from one interview to the next.

I've said for years, the Klitschkos are a nasty slimy well-versed-in-PR pair of bullies. I too would happily lose my Wlad by KO bet to see him walloped. I do think my money's safe, though.

For all Tyson's bluster about the bible - I can definitely check-off a couple of the 7 sins during yesterday's conference: wrath, pride , greed, sloth, lust, envy, and gluttony.
I think he's got a heart, and probably more brains than people think - but he is emotional, not rational.
And ultimately wrath, pride and being emotional will probably see him steam out and try and put on a show for his dad, the travelling fans and the television audiences - and that's is not a good idea against Wladimir Klitschko. I really hope that I'm wrong, but have seen it loads of times in big fights.
I hope I'm wrong but I can see Peter Fury steaming afterwards that Tyson didn't follow the gameplan.
Meanwhile Wlad is super-cool and has done this dozens of times. He's fully matured and thinks like a chess player. He's ironed out those flaws in his game and mental uncertainness.
Wlad's proven his power and skillset to be better than Fury's to date. But his biggest assets are experience and that laser-focus, whereas unfortunately Fury has shown that his focus has been extremely poor at times.
BUT whilst Fury might not hit as hard as Wlad - he has a better chin and has enough dig to hurt Wlad himself. He also moves well for a big fella and can switch stances comfortably. He's got things that Wlad hasn't seen for a while, if at all.
The importance of Peter Fury in this fight, is perhaps the the highest factor in any recent fight that I can think of. I have a lot of respect for him, and if they are victorious then he should get a lot of credit indeed.

Got to disagree with you on the chin thing. Fury has been decked by Pajkic and Cunningham with single shots. Not sure Wlad would have been dropped by those shots. I also don't think Fury could have stayed upright from either of the big right hands Haye landed on Wlad, in the 3rd and 12th of their fight.

I see your point and agree with it in many ways. But he's been put down from being unfit and sloppy , and generally gets up and wins by stoppage himself right after.
Whereas Wlad, he's had David Price-style endings a few times (sorry David), where he is completely gone, falling around like a drunk and being rescued.
Maybe Fury would be the same if hit with those shots, I dunno. But I've never seen him on queer street like Wlad has been several times.
I think we'll see if it counts for much soon anyway.

He's speaking in his third language you pair of mongs. Love to see you lads swan over to Ukraine and do the raconteur bit entertaining the locals in their national tongue. Despite that he achieved his intended outcome of deliberately playing up to the 'boring' persona accusations - obviously too subtle for some. The "my speech is going to be veeerrrrrry loonnnng" line should have been enough of an indication.
