Ha ha... a short pencil is always better than a long memory! Write EVERYTHING down always! :-) I even write the ref and timekeeper on my bout cards to ensure I don't miss anything!

You haven't answered the question sir! This is important.... How would you say it, phonetically? :Pmagwitch wrote:reggaereggae wrote:One question: how would you pronounce 'Paul Smith' if you were introducing him?HollywoodMC wrote:OK... I guess its time for some shameless self promotion! There only one http://www.HollywoodMC.com :-)
I think what may have happened there is he's thought: "weight, record, from blah de blah blah...get the crowd up....don't need to write his name down" and he's gone and forgotten his name. I bet Buffer writes the names down of both fighters - just so that on the off chance he has a total mental blank, he doesn't look like a tit. I've done it myself sometimes with friends who I've not known long, or just not seen in a while and I'm talking to them thinking "f*ck, what's your bloody name!".........doesn't happen that often but I'll bet it's happened to us all at some point.

Depends on how HE pronounces it it could be Paul Smith as its spelled or Paul Smyth as in Sm-eye-th. I would check first. :-) I would assume its Paul Smith but since you are asking, it may be something different...reggae reggae wrote: You haven't answered the question sir! This is important.... Apparently he was asking for too much money but he was/is the best boxing MC in the UK by a country mile.
