Amir Khan to stop Dmitriy Salita in round 1. Even posted it up on boxrec a couple of days before the fight. Got something like 24/1 on betfair. I even spoke to two of my brothers and asked them if they wanted a free Christmas (the fight was around Christmas). We all whacked money on it. Christmas was free that year!

Salita looked fairly promising as well on paper

I picked Frampton to beat Martinez the first time around. Martinez was the favourite going in to the fight and it was considered a big "step up" for Carl.

I also picked Hatton to beat Tszyu.

And Calzaghe to beat both Hopkins and Jones Jr.

If we're talking longest odds, i remember taking glen johnson rounds 7,8,9 and 10 vs Roy Jones at 100/1 for each round.

Also Prescott 80/1 rd 1 and covered the first four I think, but someone else got 125/1 I seem to remember. Oddschecker wasn't in my life back then

In terms of most satisfying, enzo KO1 Bobby Gunn was good because I accidentally refreshed the page or something and somehow put on £200 instead of £100 :)

Calzaghe PTS Salem at 5/1 was a good one too, it was my biggest ever bet at the time and I was still at uni. I persuaded my mate and a few folks on boxrec to get on it too.

Was me that! Clarissa Shields to win middleweight gold at London 2012. Was on at 33/1 and 25/1 and backed at prices all the way down to 9/4. Probably my best ever bet. Still get a dafty on thinking about her.

I remember Prescott fight like it was yesterday, was in the pub with Willy Hills across the street. 100% Prescott was 125/1 in rounds 1, 2 & 3. I took rounds 2 & 3 for £2.50 each. Didn't think Khan would be complacent enough to get punked in the first 3 minutes.

No he wasn't mate, memory playing tricks on you there, Frampton was the clear betting favourite.

I had a five fight accumulator ending with Lomachenko losing to Salido...

I'll have to check up on that, but as far as I can recall, this was seen as just another step in Martinez getting a World Title shot.

I'd say mine was Danny Williams to beat Tyson. With hindsight seems quite obvious, but at the time, nobody gave him a prayer. I won 200 quid at 10-1, for Williams to win by any means, and almost won 1000 on round betting, went for KO in round 3. Bastard.

I only got 6/1 with Blue Square (Think they're bust now??) I remember putting the bet on through my mate's TV and thinking it was the wave of the future.

Katsidis to knock Mitchell out. Never in doubt in my opinion and I took a few quid off a mate in the process.

Hopkins to beat Pavlik (a fight which he was a remarkable 4/1 with the bookies for).

I've had a few over the years,Benn to go to Italy and beat Galvano,Danny Willimas to ko Tyson,Spinks to ko Cooney,i used to see who Colin Hart picked and then bet on the other fella,i remember clearly him picking Bruno to ko Witherspoon in 7 because Tim was fat,despite Witherspoon giving Holmes the fright of his life 2 years earlier.

Nothing like some of the bets mentioned on here but I put money on Tyson stopping Carl Williams in one round, I had never been in a bookies before but was so convinced of it that I laid my first ever bet. I just wish I put more money on lol.

Frampton was an overwhelming favourite to beat Martinez both times, and Calzaghe was a strong betting favourite against Hopkins and huge betting favouite against RJJ, so if they're the best picks you ever made then you must have some real shockers.

Edit: Frampton 1/4 to beat Martinez in their first fight, Calzaghe was 1/2 to beat Hopkins, Calzaghe was 2/9 to beat Jones Jr.
