well there was no complaints from Dodd, but seeing as he was walking straight off to congratulate Cardle then he may of been ok to continue

If Dodd was only ahead by one point going into the last on the third card, then the stoppage was academic as he'd have lost the last round 10-8 and therefore wouldn't have got the decision.

See Hearn you give domestic fighters in British title fights a chance and you are much more likely to get a decent fight instead of having an argue from the weight below for the ABC international title.
