After thinking some more I arrived to the conclusion that Alvarez is definitely winning this fight. Only question remains whether he stops Cotto. Canelo is just level above Cotto.

Personally I think cotto will box his ears off, looking forward to the fight, that's for sure

Alvarez was a fair bit bigger but boxed well and I think he won by maybe 3 rounds. The judges cards were too wide, I hope he boxes Golovkin - that will be one of next years highlights.

First off, what a great night for boxing. The fight before the Main Event was one of the best fights I've seen in a long time and the finale brought some great drama. Bravo.

Now, i'm not going to go off on a Cotto tirade about the most overrated boxer in history again. I'm not even going to mention how he had absolutely no snap on his punches last night. I'm not even going to point to the glaring size difference between the two which must have been at least a 20 pound difference.

The reason is that none of that would have mattered as Canelo was just that good and also because Cotto showed great heart last night and got my respect. Canelo has arrived in a big way and I thought he looked fantastic. He deserves all the credit for this one and i'm excited for Canelomania to begin. Aside from how dynamic he was inside the ring, he was classy and respectful and i loved that. Maybe now we have a PPV King that can bring some class back to the sport and respect.

The majority of Floyd's PPV buys were from people wanting to see him get knocked out. I think that the majority of Canelo's buys in the future will be from fans that just love him. Quite a different vehicle and i love it for boxing. I'm so glad i was wrong about Canelo.
