you could see it on cotto's face when they read off the cards before announcing
the decision that it suddenly occurred to him he was about to get royally f'd.
just about every round was close in that one. the thing is, not paying the sanction
fee after holding onto the title 2 years and delaying and stalling so he didn't
have to face his mandatory should have prepared him mentally for wbc judges
not giving him any close rounds. the weirdest thing was how they tried to announce
this as a title fight while trying to awkwardly avoid explaining the who title issue.
the challenger for a wbc title which the other fighter no longer holds and is being
introduced as ring magazine linear champ, bla bla. the web we weave...

you said cotto couldn't fight backing up and is a bull in a china shop, lol
You still talking crap? Seriously? When Canelo was aggressive, he was the boss. He just picked his spots. It's obvious who the stronger guy was in there. Cotto only looked good when Canelo had his gloves tucked against his chin and let him work.

Cotto refused to submit to WBC-sanctioned VADA-administered testing (hmmm) and you were expecting them to do him favors?

Canelo was all buddy-buddy with Cotto in there.

Too much of a businessman for my liking.
And not taking any risks either, just cruising to a decision, knowing beforehand in which direction the scorecards will go.

Cotto showed no class once more at the end; but i would call him the moral victor, as Canelo couldn't take him out, or even deck him, while having every conceivable advantage.

I expect a coward move by him, asking a 155 catch weight vs Gennady, which he should absolutely refuse, and have Canelo stripped for the entitled rascal that he is.

I thought May-Pac would be exactly what it was.

Why Cotto-Canelo is getting more hype than Wlad-Fury is fooking mind boggling to me. :witzend:

Cotto and Canelo have lost Big recently. Wlad and Fury haven't, AND they're Heavyweights !
No one cares about Wlad and pury maybe only in Europe but over in the states ppl dont give two cents about clinch master wlad and that other guy.

Fact
Considering Cotto-Canelo was PPV and Wlad-Fury isn't, you unfortunately aren't far off. I live in the states, and I care, but I've always been a Heavyweight fan.
