The talking for five hours unscripted is what makes him who he is for me.

Some people here tho take the other view that when he was desperate after losing his setanta job he used the forum lads for his "bring back bunce" campaign, but i cant go along with that the allegedly job is not an easy one.i dislike it when they use rosenthal instead of bunce.

My only complaint is they really really need to do up the studio.how about a red and gold set up with expensive red and gold leather chairs, kibd of like a tv set in wladimir klitchkos colours.it would be classy. ....the current studio looks very dingy and low life

What are you his agent!?
Is he looking for one? I'm cheap and a real brown noser

Bunce kind of kept the sport alive from a media sense for a bit in and around 2009. He did a live tour back then due to popular demand (bring bunce back) - this was all before the Jonny come lately's and Internet reporters. I respect him and his experience and views. He also is hilarious at times. He deserves to have the attitude that he's deeper than most in the sport because he has earnt his stripes. I don't like though that he thinks the only way to earn his respect is by following the same route as him. Times have changed.

Was it bunce that plucked Barry jones out of relative obscurity to co host on ESPN and allegedly? If it was he should also get some credit for that.

Perhaps he should change his nickname. Maybe Bic Daddy Bunce or Steve 'Five Biros' Bunce?

Yeah x2 it's like being sat down the pub with a couple of friends. Great stuff. I like that little Welsh fella too....is he called Barry Jones? Looks a bit of a hard nut but a nice fella and great professional insight.

I'm not sure I've ever heard Barry Jones described as looking like a hard nut before, including when he was a pro

Steve 'Biro Bum' Bunce.

I have a love/hate relationship with him.
I have a great respect for his love of the business and it's clear that he knows his stuff.
However, his babbling over the ring walks, his high pitched squealing and his blatant sucking up when he's interviewing gets on my tits.

In saying that, I have suddenly got a new respect for him since I found out that he rams pens up African hooker's dots.

Bunce being Bunce really,it was from the Setanta days with Andy Kerr, there was some odd one out competition and for some reason Jade Goody was there and Buncey said someting about her wearing a wig and she didnt suit it blah blah blah and how he loved the show where she was dying coz it was entertaining

Thats 1st time id seen it and thats a lot worse than the Joe Frazier's "brown bread" debacle

I like Buncey but thats bad darts and 1 of the reasons why he divides opinions.even poor Andy was embarrased
