How is he any worse than Bush or Obama?
it is seriously frightening that someone can
ask this question. trump and obama are as
far apart intellectually and in terms of personal
integrity as you can possibly be. donald trump
first lacks the brains for this job. and second
he is a ruthless billionaire who has an ego so
big it has become the joke of new york architecture.
you want to give this man the nuclear codes?
sounds like a mel brooks script to me.

the GOP has an agenda so radically against
everyday americans it needed to go in bed with
with extreme groups like christian fundamentalists
and the tea party to get elected and now they are
in a terrible place, cause real honest conservatives
have no way to get things out from there. the
electorate is pissed with "washington", mainly
because the GOP with their block-everything
approach has made the system dysfunctional,
not even shying away from government shut down.
so the naive man on the street sees the GOP on
one hand as the saviour of american values, due
to the propaganda machine that marks obama
as a socialist. (which is funny, cause in europe he
would be seen rather as a free market defender.)
but they see it is not working because of "politics"
and now they turn to the "outsider" to save the
day. that they choose a billionaire of all people
is the biggest irony in all this.

there is one reasonable name on the table and
that is marko rubio, but of course he is too
reasonable for the GOP base.

trump tower versus patin's palace, this would
actually be proof we are living in a film script.
I'm reading your diatribe thinking, ok, I see where you are coming from. You are far more liberal than I am, and that's ok, even though many of your criticisms directed at modern conservatism are accurate. And then I get to Marco freakin Rubio! Rubio is a protege and a clone of the Bush family. Rubio is a staunch Republican that is bought and paid for by the Koch brothers. Man, on American politics you happen to be 100% clueless regarding Rubio with all due respect.

If you are very conservative and like Rubio, that's fine, but you're not so you shouldn't. You are more in the Sanders or O'Malley camp. Even Hillary may be too conservative for you. Rubio is far right.

Probably.

But "man" who thinks we shouldn't even be discussing race started a thread on it.

I liked asdfjkl comment; racing is another sport :oo and should be moved to other topics.

You are "the naive man on the street," man.

Yes, this thread should go to Offal Topic.

Marco Rubio is a very conservative guy on virtually every issue except immigration. And let us not forget that he upset David Lemieux, handing the Canadian his first loss. :OhYes:

i would not vote for him, i just said he
is the most reasonable GOP candidate.
in the debates he looked informed and
tried to talk substance.

Rubio is informed and has the ability to sound Far More reasonable than his Very Unreasonable voting record. Rubio voted against gun background checks even for people on the No Fly List ! He is very good at making himself sound reasonable, but he isn't. I apologize for calling you clueless. I am clueless on European politics and I am also clueless on virtually every topic except some aspects of boxing, real estate, and Bob Dylan music.

If the Powers move this thread to "Off Topic" I don't think anyone would object.
