Think this is going to be a dud. Most people in the UK think he's a knob.

TMT are unbelievably hard work to deal with.

I sympathise with the Promoter and the sub contractors but it is happening.
Some dates have had to change to "facilitate" TMT but this is the tour

1/2 Cardiff St Davids Hall
2/2 Bristol Colston Hall
4/2 London Hilton
5/2 Glasgow Crown Plaza
7/2 Sheffield City Hall
11/2 Bolton Macron Stadium
14/2 Bedford Buyan Centre

Deals prices etc vary from event to event.

I'd class myself as a complete boxing obsessive and i'd be interested in attending pretty much anything related to the sport, but just cannot see why the f*ck anyone would pay hard earned cash to stand around like a plank in the same room as that vacuous, semi literate, money grabbing, wife beating, fight ducking, self obsessed, retard.

Honestly boggles my mind.

Same here, what entertainment is to be had from just standing in the same room? I guess if you're some sort of mega-fan it works.

Mayweather might need the cash to buy a new electric scooter, he should throw some of his cash to the homeless and needy

Bristol has been pulled, fearing protested from anti domestic violence groups... Could be code for ticket prices too high.

He did, unannounced, and the barber didn't recognise him. He was fuming.

I wouldn't be surprised if the dearest tickets, with photo, had sold. It's the mid range ones that are the problem, who wants to pay 1-200 for a ticket with no photo?

I heard last time this was supposed to be happening, Floyd wanted like 30 grand per show, with a minimum amount of shows - if that's the arrangement then the promoter is taking a serious risk and/or is working alongside other promoters in different cities. I'd not like to be the guy collecting up everyone's money and handing it over to TMT and then hoping he shows up. Equally I'd not want to be the promoter of the last show in case he decided to go back home.

This isn't Floyd meeting his fans, this is Floyd fleecing his fans - yet again.

The promoter would need to be putting flyers under the windscreen wipers of premiership footballers at that price. It's about ten grand a table is it not?

If I could afford it; I would love to go.... Just to ask him this question "hi Floyd, which was the most satisfying knockout of your career? Hatton? Ortiz? Or your girlfriend?"

I cant fathom why anyone would want to pay to see him if hes not fighting. The mans got zero charisma or class. He doesnt even really talk boxing all that well. I genuinely wouldnt bother if he was doing it for free down my local. Its not like hes remotely funny or intelligent, it'll be all his buzzwords and how hes "truly blessed" by "the sport of boxing" (he seems incapable of simply saying the word boxing on its own). Also, watching him show off about what he owns to mask the fact hes clearly a closet gayman is just painful. Its 2016 floyd, no one will mind.

For that kind of coinage you could get two quality tarts to go at whilst you watch, before joining them for a bit of gymnastics.

For 450 quid that`s the only kind of moneyshot I`d be after.

This whole thing just gets weirder & weirder:

Floyd Mayweather Junior’s promotion company says it has pursued ‘legal representation’ after Cardiff’s St David’s Hall said they had called off his victory tour appearance "due to unforeseen circumstances".

The sporting superstar was due to appear at the city venue on Monday, February 1, as part of his Evening with Floyd Mayweather Jr UK tour – his first ever series of speaking engagements.

But a statement released by St David’s Hall’s on their website and Twitter page said the event had been called off due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’.

It read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances the St David’s Hall Cardiff date of the Floyd Mayweather European Victory tour will no longer take place. Please return your tickets to the Box office for a full refund. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.”

However Mayweather’s promotion company cast doubt on what the venue had said, claiming they had not cancelled the event and said they had sent correspondence to the venue via legal representation.

A statement read: “It has been brought to the attention of the promoters of ‘An Evening with Floyd Mayweather Jnr’ on Monday 1 February 2016 that the venue, St David’s Hall in Cardiff, suspended sales of tickets on Friday and subsequently informed those who had purchased tickets that the event has been cancelled due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’.”

It added: “Neither the promoters nor Floyd Mayweather Jnr have cancelled this event.

“Our legal representatives have written to St David’s Hall stating our position. No response has been forthcoming.

“Unfortunately, the promoters are under the opinion that due to the actions of St David’s Hall the event cannot go ahead as planned. We are currently speaking with our advisers and Floyd Mayweather Jnr’s team as to a way forward.”

The undefeated world champion – who has convictions for domestic violence – was due to visit Bristol’s Colston Hall on February 2 as part of the tour but that show was also cancelled.

Organisers said that cancellation was due to “family reasons” connected to the Cardiff promoter.

Anyone know what the fvck is going on?
