The mans hand speed is incredible.
Perhaps I don't follow him closely enough, but I've never had an issue with his personality.
And ya, those hands are fuckingg fast...maybe the fastest hands pound for pound today. Guys like Judah and Alexander are pretty fast themselves, but they had no answer for Khan's speed.

What a daft match. Even if Khan were to win can you imagine what kind of spectacle we'll have witnessed? Dull doesn't even get near it.
GGG v Canelo / Brook v Khan would have been good for boxing. This bollox just ain't.

I think it's a potential Fight of the Year candidate.

It will be a belter. Khan does not know how to be in a less than exciting fight. Canelo is a solid opponent and most will pick him to win comfortably.
It's going to be the best £16.95 I spend in May.
If I win the lottery I'd be over there like a shot.

When's Khan ever been in a dull fight?

I'm saying for Khan to win he'll have to be back peddling from start to finish. How exciting would that be?
All this fight of the year stuff is great if you want to see Khan torn a new arsehole.

He managed to fight of the year against a banger like maidana.

Yep, i struggle to see a dull outcome. At worst it will be massively intriguing.

Just been told of possible redundancy today so really tempted to book it before the missus finds out.
Seems the sensible option.

money advice by predator.
I actually give financial advice for a living lol.

But he isn't fighting Maidana again is he.
I'm going to leave people to salivate over this strange pairing. But I maintain it will either be a dull win for Khan where he understandably does anything to avoid engaging, or far more likely we'll see a conclusive stoppage for Alvarez.
I can't see either fighter emerging from this with any real credit except maybe Khan for his bravery, which largely hasn't managed to endear him up to this point.
Daft match.

It's rare that I get excited about these 'big' fights but I think it's the complete lack of the crap that usually puts me off them in the first place: the stupid public negotiations, shows of ego, bullshiting by promoters... None of that. Just an announcement: "by the way, there's this super fight we've just made if you're interested."
It's refreshing.
With Ward/kovalev supposedly signed, porter-Thurman, the apparent UK heavyweight takeover, and now this, I wonder if we can actually look forward to a great year of boxing?

It will not be dull. We all know he will be on the backfoot but he cannot run. He cannot afford to take too many shots of Alvarez - yet he is not capable of staying in the pocket ala Mayweather and not getting hit so his offence will need to be his real defence, he will need to pepper Alvarez all night long to avoid getting steamrolled.
It won't be dull.

PS - my early prediction is Khan getting steamrolled, early.

I agree that it won't be dull, because Khan isn't going to win this.
But in the unlikely event that on May 8th the result says Khan W12 Alvarez, does anyone seriously think we'll have seen anything other than a dull fight? That was my earlier point.
The only purpose this match serves is for the people involved to get well paid. There is nothing there whatsoever for the fan to get excited about IMO.

Khan jumping up 2 weight divisions to fight the WBC middleweight champion is nothing to get excited about???
I guess you'd rather watch Brook vs Bieber, or Bizier or whatever he's called

I very much doubt that I'd consider Khan finding a way to win against Alvarez dull.

The khan can thread,he can but he wont. kid cinnamon will walk him down . and khan does not have the discipline or jaw to run for 12 rounds,so he will stand and trade with canelo and will be ko. people are mad thinking khan can box like mayweather laughable

Couldn't agree more. He won't put a dent in Alvarez and while Alvarez is nothing special he's too big and powerful for Khan.
Khan should be admired for taking the fight though.
