Eubank has been offered the fight at least 3 times and has rejected every offer, he can say he wants it all he likes, actions speak louder than words. Saunders is the champion, he has every right to dictate the terms, didn't even really do that judging by what's been said, it was Eubank making the ridiculous demands.
It is not a champion who is supposed to make demands, but an A side. Lee vs BJS title fight showed that they are both crappy draws, so BJS is clearly not an A side against Eubank Jr.

Saunders' demands for a GGG fight are absolutely ridiculous and most likely his demands for Eubank fight were not realistic either.
Saunders agreed his side of the deal. Eubank's demands are the reason the fight hasn't happened.
It doesn't work like that. Both sides need to agree to some middle ground not to "one's side of the deal".

According to who?
Its the way of the Sport. There is not many current fighters/champions who go straight into big fights once winning the belt. 90% of fighters do the same, everyone knows this.

I didn't know it. Call me old fashioned but I like my world championship fights to be between top level fighters. Contenders can take as many soft opponents as they like while they are up & coming, climbing the rankings.

There's taking a soft opponent and then there's taking the piss.

Fans shouldn't adopt your attitude; that this kind of matchmaking for world title fights is even close to acceptable, vote with your wallets and boycott this garbage.

I hope the event makes a loss.
Then where have you been for the last 10 years? to know this is what 90% of fighters do once winning the belt. would I like it to be the way you think it should be.. of course, what fan wouldn't. but this is what boxing has become. I agree that I wouldn't pay to go watch this sort of fight but I don't agree with the stick that BJS is getting as its what the rest of the industry does. its not right but it won't change, the business side is ruining the sport from the glory days of the best fighting the best.

how much is saunders getting to fight bursak?!? i doubt i will even remember to watch it when
they fight. are brits really that desperate that you're telling me saunders is going to get paid
to fight bursak even remotely in the same universe as what he would get for eubank?
saunders supposedly turned down $3mil to fight GGG. how many bursak fights is that worth?

i find when pulling a fake number out of one's ass, it is best to use a number like 86%.
a round number like 90 pretty much announces you just made it up. if we went through
the new titlists last year i bet we would find a few stripped for not fighting mandatories,
and a few more who immediately fought mandatories, and a few who elected big fights
immediately after winning the title, etc. i believe saunders was a mandatory for lee for
his first defense. it may be more often than not a voluntary but it's hardly a rule or an
overwhelming amount of first defences that are pushovers. this is one of those bottom
of the barrel first defenses.
