Tom Sharkey is a great pic I'm surprised I forgot to mention him. Also ya gotta love Marciano in a street fight against almost anyone. There are lots of stories about him knocking out people much larger than him in his biography and in the movie about him(even though the movie sucked and was totaly inaccurate).

Thanks, this is the first forum I've ever been a member of. There are no serious boxing fans where I live so this site is a dream-tons of knowledgeable people.

Gotta go with Mayorga & Tyson...it'd be like walking into a nuthouse. Your attackers would first have to get through the smokescreen of mayorga's 40 packs a day habit, then his legion of whores, then once they finally get through that, they get eaten alive!! All the while with mayorga talkin' trash.

Definately Mike Tyson. The man is a psycho, killing machine! See what he did to Mitch 'Blood' Green (i think it was?) in a street fight? Or a couple of years ago, those dudes told him "you have fists, we have guns" and he proceeded to belt the shit out of them?

Hard to go past Foreman. He's my all-time favourite fighter, & a street fighter of real repute in his early days. On the street, you need a man with power as well, & no one had more of that than Big George.

Relative to their size, Duran & LaMotta would be popular choices. There are always big fellows on the street, though, which is why, no matter how tough a boxer may appear in the ring, you'd be stupid not to make your choice one of the Heavyweights (Liston, Marciano, Dempsey, etc.)

Any fighter that got anywhere near the top 10000 in rankings.

Street fights are chaotic quick shoot outs with so many random
elements. A guy with a clear head and quick fists is always
welcome on my back in such a situation.
