What proof.
Not one of you Lil g sticklickers has even attempted to explain his lack of greatness.
I'll take that as your submission and acknowledgement that I'm right.
Or, you can try an actual take.

Don't act like you haven't seen my question- Why did FMJ fight Cotto at 154 but force Canelo to go down to 152?
If you poo on GGG then you gotta poo on FMJ.
Because Canelo's camp is the one who offered to have the fight at 152.
Exactly.
That's one of the differences I was referring to.
I know folks think Canelo drained himself too much and they might be right.
They might also be wrong and I do not know if 2 pounds would have made
too much of a difference in the outcome on that particular night. He wasn't
drained against Lara and had some of the same kind of problems.
Man & Purist:
Man, you are saying I am turning the story around and I appreciate the compliment,
backhanded or no, but I am not spinning anything.
There is no need to spin anything because the truth is right there for everyone to see.
If we apply the same rules of what constitutes a "duck" the only conclusion that can be
logically drawn by any rational person is that lil g has avoided almost as many men as
can be said to have avoided him.
And if we look at historical precedent, it is clear to see who is really stopping this
fight from happening and why that is.
In Williams-Martinez we had Punisher dictate the weight in the rematch. The
naturally smaller Punisher had a little leverage in that he didn't need the fight
as much as Sergio did. Worked out pretty well for Maravilla anyway, tho.
In the Pac-Cotto catchweight, we had a champion forced to drain himself or
faced being stripped. That was A-side dictating to B-side.
Mayweather-Alvarez was about Canelo and his people making several mistakes.
I won't go into them here because I promised I would not until someone stepped
up and gave logical, rational answers to what was posed in the OP. But that was
also A-side and B-side.
Golovkin and Loeffler said many times in the past they'd be willing to go down in weight
for a fight with Canelo. Only when they became mandatory has the tune changed. So,
the truth is they are going back on their word and it is this that is stopping the fight
from being made.
Purist, folks need to get it out of their heads that this is about a mandatory defense.
It isn't.
It is about a payday and about each fighter jockeying for the best position they can get.
If anyone thinks lil g's priority is Canelo's belt, they are sadly mistaken.
If that was the case, lil g and Loeffler would have filed court papers last year,
right after the WBC pulled that stunt and basically sided with Canelo. But, they
didn't because the belt is largely irrelevant. It's the payday they really want.
Sure, if they are able to somehow get the WBC to completely strip Canelo (instead
of elevating him to Super Champion or some other such nonsense and giving lil g
the belt he now has) they will take that. But the only use they have for the belt
Canelo now wears is as further leverage (they think) in a fight negotiation with him.
Problem is, not even that will be leverage enough and Canelo has plenty of compelling
alternatives at 147, 154, and yes even 160.
Lil g does not.
My guess is either lil g will cave (and he should since 155 may be just as much of an advantage
to him as it is to Saul) or he will be left holding his codpiece in his hand while Canelo does
another million buys this fall with someone else, belt or no belt.
