Sweet Jesus, haven't people observed how boxing matches are actually built up and promoted all these years? It's just panto. I swear some fans would be better suited to following soaps they just love the back and forth.

Tyson doesn't felate Joshua, boo hoo.

There have been plenty of boxers over the years that don't get involved in such shennanigens and let their performances in the ring do the promoting for them. It's all getting a bit like WWE , he's behind you , oh no he isn't .

Yeah you'd never see the greats like Mike Tyson or Muhammad Ali talking shit or causing controversy outside of the ring.

I didn't realise there's a genetic component to fighting in fields, I'm sure the BMJ will be fascinated to hear your evidence.
Male pattern yardness. Skips a generation sometimes, but it's always coindicated by a Transit pick-up.

They might have caused controvesy with things they said , but most of it was right and they could walk the walk.

I heard that interview the over day, it was recorded in 2010.

And at the time was considered a positive piece where a contender bigs up an Olympic hopeful. It's been spun and completely turned on its head now!

As opposed to the guy who's just comfortably beaten an eleven year champ (and arguably ATG) in is own back yard? If that's not walking the walk I don't know what is.

So when Tyson was talking about fornicating male journalists until they fell in love with him, you were like "this is just so right....." just kidding mate.

The heavyweight champ always attracts polarising opinions. Dempsey, Johnson, Liston were all controversial...in fact, I could easily make an argument for there being more controversial champs than straight laced ones if you count guys like herbie hide, or allowing Holyfield having a trillion kids etc. Even Lennox was involved in a few suited and booted scuffles pre fight wasn't he? the "sensible" behaviour of the klits basically killed the division for a decade so I'm all for a bit of silliness providing it doesn't hurt anyone. Saying AJ might get beat is hardly on a par with only accepting interviews with women that will fornicate with the Champ.

It would be a dull, boring, tedious fight with Fury fighting pretty much the way he did vs Wlad. Switching his stance, being on the defensive whilst doing just enough to win the rounds whilst Joshua looks lost and confused at being in the ring with someone who can actually box.

I don't think Fury says things to get in the public eye to be honest or attract attention to himself deliberately. I think, rightly or wrongly, he's just honest. If someone is interviewing him he'll say what he thinks. If that makes the press then so be it.

He could have easily said "Great fight, stacked card, great for this country, great for boxing. So evenly matched, everyone give £16.95 immediately. Twice if possible." but if he doesn't believe that then what's the point. If you think Joshua's a dick then say so.

Rather that than the bland platitudes put out everywhere else.

I think it would be foolish to put AJ in with Tyson Fury in the next 12 -18 months.

Whilst AJ is a huge puncher, he'd genuinely need a KO to win and would likely get peppered all night long by Fury's superior boxing ability.

He could he even gas and get halted on his feet in the final stretch as his muscular physique starves of oxygen. Fury is too seasoned right now and AJ needs to learn his professional craft a lot more.

With regards the smack talk, Fury is just playing the heel against AJ's wholesome and manicured image.

Especially since he's the guy that sticks his tongue out mid fight, and said he could beat Fury ow but he'll wait until he's got a bit more experience so the fight will be easy.

Seriously why does anyone care how fake Anthony Joshua is perceived as being? I think in interviews and to the media he has been calm and respectful. In all honesty I think Tyson Fury has done the same. They've both called as they see it, and obviously they're both going to feel like they can knock the other out.

If Joshua is all 'gangsta trippin' in his own time, let him be. At the end of the day, his actions have all been spot on. He trains hard and honestly (none of this putting 5 stone on in between fights) and so far far has come through each test with flying colours. I think the fight with Martin will be good, less talk and more fighting.

As far as Fury goes, how on earth can you make a thread on him slagging off AJ? Considering all the absolute shenanigans he's already been involved with, this is pretty conservative for him!

I think it's because it's seen as PR people making him look like a saint, when he clearly isn't. The media pretty much gives him a free pass for some reason. Anyway I refer back to this.
