A real pity this bout isn't being televised. I think there is a great interest in seeing how Daniel goes at super middle. A dominating performance and as respected as he is amongst the powers that be he could have a huge fight very soon - just be nice to see it!!

It's amazing how the media don't get behind Daniel Geale, This should be an entertaining fight, strange how telecasts get behind fights with rugby league players yet totally ignore probably Australia's best representative of late
Daniel Geale says his fight with Renold Quinlan has been "pushed back a few months."
This is consistent with the revised date of August that was touted a few weeks back.
Daniel says the reason he pulled out of training camp for the Quinlan fight was his mother going into hospital.
Sadly, as we know, Daniel's mother later passed away.
At least one outlet ran with "Geale is injured and the fight needs to be postponed."
There is every likelihood they were told that by the Geale camp. Not the first, and certainly won't be the last time misinformation has been used to enable people to deal with a family tragedy in peace.
