Exactly, there's now finaly a Dutch immigrant boxing af the heavyweight league, and he's doing reasonable, but I don't think he will receive more opponends any time soon. Nick Webb (undercard David Haye) could be a good opponend, but since Nick looks so much like David Haye, I'm quite confident Nick doesn't dare to fight Tyrone Spong.

Because he's a good fighter that deserves recognicion he doesn't yet have.

How is David Haye ranked number 12 by the IBF? I thought the Mori fight had some bullshit WBA angle? Boxing is mental.

Surely Stiverne has to be still in the mix? He's got to bring more of a challenge than Breazeale, Molina or Miller? I mean this isn't a mandatory defence.

Also, does the winner of Parker/Takam become a mandatory? Or will they have a final eliminator against Teper?

My understanding is that the voluntary defence still has to be someone in the top 15 but I may be wrong.

Well don't get me wrong, I don't think that any American outside of Wilder is worth mentioning, but it's an American, end of. They want to crack the US market before they start setting up super fights in the fall. It makes perfect sense from a business perspective, but it just lines up a horrendous fight.

What I will say though, is if it is Stiverne, and AJ steamrollers him inside 3 rounds, surely that has got to be a statement?

I thought Parker/Takam was a final eliminator, but I suppose that explains why the #1/#2 spots on the IBF rankings are blank.

Allows Joshua two voluntaries (June and Sept/Oct), which is what Hearn said just after he won the belt. I still think the long term aim is to fight Fury next summer at Wembley Stadium.

It would be an easy sell- yes Dereck has little chance, which Hearn will like, but his name is known and you know he talks so will create hype and PR. Joshua has a big following in the casual fan world and they don't know enough about boxing and will just love the hype = PPV buys = a self satisfied Eddie Hearn jacking off with a finger up his aris when he downloads the PPV buys figures...
