Lomachenko vs Salido was the worst. Referee Laurence Cole allowed at least 50 low blows by Salido and interfered when Loma had Salido going in the 12th.. Cole had been suspended by the Texas Boxing Commission for biased refereeing previously and he was allowed to work the fight.. Loma scored many more clean punches and lost a SD in his 2nd pro fight... Another blind judge called his 3rd pro fight with Gary Russell a draw when he won every round.

Lara was robbed blind twice... Once vs Paul Williams and then against Canelo Alvarez

Pacquiao was robbed in Bradley 1... Yunieski Gonzalez was robbed blind vs Jean Pascal... Boxing is the most corrupt sport in history.

Another very bad referee worked the first Andrade-Bute fight... Andrade had Bute going in the 12th and the referee interfered constantly.

Whitaker vs Chavez (Whitaker)
Sturm vs De La Hoya (Sturm)
Jirov vs Toney (Jirov I thought won. Not worst decision ever just one I strongly disagreed with)
Murray got screwed against Martinez in Argentina imo.
Half of the fights judged by Adelaide Byrd

It wasn't that bad.

It was a close fight that could have gone either way, or even a draw.

Golota vs Ruiz, Masternak vs Muller, both had their opponents 2 times on the canvas (Masternak in a 10 rounds fight), both won most of rounds

It's less high profile than a few of the other suggestions, but I thought Damaen Kelly was robbed blind, at home, against Simone Maludrottu for the European Bantamweight title. I though he boxed beautifully and won most rounds.

He got stopped early in the rematch though.

RIDICULOUS... TONEY LANDED 150 MORE PUNCHES AND NEARLY KNOCKED JIROV OUT... It was a UNANIMOUS decision by a WIDE margin... Harold Lederman may have been the worst judge in History... He tends to influence the HBO crew... This time they disagreed.

Maybe you guys should simply look at the match, perhaps that wakes you up.

I watched it. Haye won by virtue of landing more punches than his opponent.

Your assessment that he only 'hitted' Valuev once is absurd.

+1.

My memory of that fight is Valuev pawing his jab out repeatedly with the odd one-two, and a bemused look on his face as David Haye is nowhere near where his fist ends up as he's got out of the way.

Awful fight but the right winner IMO.

Really? I agree he won but I thought Whitaker was robbed worse against Oscar.
Whitaker vs Ramirez! That was a harsh one
+1.

To me, the touchstones for "biggest robberies in professional boxing" are Whitaker v Ramirez, Abril v Rios and Escalera v Everett, i.e. where the loser won pretty much every round. Fights where, on a fair view, the winner won 4 rounds of 12 shouldn't come into it - they can still be pretty outrageous calls, but we're talking about the worst of the worst here.

Daddy was from start till end continually near the corners and when approached running away like a chicken. Yes he managed to hit Valuev in the latest round, but that's really it.

You really are clueless.

Haye boxed Valuev's ears off, Nikolai barely landed a jab all night. Haye only landed one big shot, in the last round, but he landed a lot more punches throughout the fight.

Did you expect him to sit in the pocket and trade with a man a foot taller and 7st heavier than him?

To be fair Haye probably only landed 50 shots through the entire 12 rounds.

The upside is Valuev landed maybe 10.

Had Haye not broken his hand in round 2 i think the giant would have been knocked out as early as the 5th or 6th.

I thought Dai Davies got robbed against Josh Wale last year.

I had Valuev nicking the Haye fight but I was very drunk at the time and haven't played it back so may not be one of my better scorecards.

Pac Bradley 1

There might be more extreme ones, like Roy Jr in the olympics, but this was the fighter of the decade defending his titles in front of the whole boxing world,on PPV, instead of notoriously corrupt - ridden olympics.

Andre Ward felt compelled to beg Bradley, his old friend, to give the belts back.
That's saying something.

Boxing was everybody's joke for the next 3 months.

And I reckon Bob's still laughing as i type this.
