I haven't watched the video but no doubt I'd find it funny without necessary agreeing with it but I don't want to hear Fury whinging about nobody liking him,

I thought he was keeping his head down (not like that) until the Klitschko fight?
I'm of the opinion that he can do what he likes and I'll still like him
I like him. He makes me chuckle. He's a tit but a funny tit.
He's comedy gold and he can fight! What's not to love?

The thing is, as daft as some of the stuff he says is, I just refuse to get as offended and worked up as the "twitter" brigade. U cant fart without them getting up a petition of some sort. Its men talking guff on a sofa. There are bigger issues to tackle, that hash tags and profile pics simply wont effect in the slightest, get off your arse if you feel that strongly cos no-one ever changed anything with a status update.

I am of the belief that as long as people are not actually ad deliberately demanding violence against anyone, they can say what they like.

The current status where people are being prosecuted for hate speech over largely innocuous utterings and the permanently offended posse are pathetic and backward.
If you don't agree on a subject, then discuss it, ignore it but don't get all emotional and throw your toys out your pram. It's extremely childish.

I'm slightly confused as to why offending someone can be considered a crime.... I'm offended by loads of things, religion mainly but I'm not going to try and prosecute anyone.

As to Fury - yes he says some odd things. But I prefer him every day of the week to the blandness of Joshua and Klit.

Anyone else think Fury is a closet?

I think he is for sure but is afraid of his father. Just look at the stuff he says about women, homosexuals etc. It's insecure. Then he grabs the mic during a workout and sings some Bette Midler?

Wouldn't be surprised if he's known in the gypsey community as being the bottom.

I think it's going to be a crazy atmosphere for the rematch. As the rest of the world rallies against Tyson, those in the arena will get behind him twice as much. I've got a feeling it's going to be a great night.

He called him a traitor to his people for fighting for the British title or something like that.

He can say what he likes but it's all quite tiresome. I don't understand the people that say good on him and they agree with him. Even my 'right wing' mates think Tyson is a bell end now. I can see how he'll do well in America. Trump voters should be into Tyson Fury.

Nice one, clopixolacuphase. Thanks for that! :TU:

In all fairness, Harry Mullan said something along those lines (he didn't call him an actual traitor') but he criticised his desicion to fight for the British title because in those days, he had to get British citizenship to fight for it and a lot of people in the Catholic side called him 'Barry the Brit' I don't think it did much long term harm, Hughie Russell used to sell out the Kings Hall and he was also a Catholic, so....

Yeah, I am not a fan of Tyson when he starts to just gob off on tangents, on issues he has no clue about. Someone is putting him up to it for sure...

In a gradually improving world. Just like the one we are in now is better than the one where "women got paid less, sodomy was completely illegal, same sex relationships were frowned upon....etc." WAY better.
do you honestly think the world is a better place than the 50s, when you put on a jumper if you got cold, could play on the street corner without getting wanked off by an old pervert, you could hold hands with your mum without being bullied, you had respect for the police and school teachers, you were not going to get run over as there were not many cars, you clooked out for your neighbours and vice versa...!!

you really think its an improving world? I certainly dont, FFS, you are lucky if you talk the same lingo as your neighbour now let alone rely on them!!

I'm all for freedom of speech and if Fury wants to say those things, I believe in his right to do so.

However, if you're going to say things like that, then you have to expect a reaction. He's going to get heat from the LGBT community, but in reality, most boxing fans are straight males, so minimum damage. Beastiality? Paedophilia? WTF? :stop:

Why doesn't he stick to talking about midget porn like normal people. :OhYes:

He could be on his way to becoming the least popular heavyweight champion of all time.

You want improvements, well for one thing the 50's were in Black & White, although from your complaint about different lingos I'm guessing you might have an issues with colours so explains a lot. All the amazing advances in technology & medicine which are helping people live longer & your main complaint seems to be that your neighbour might have a different accent? Ya racist cockwomble.

Plus there was old perverts about then just as now, but no-one spoke about them in the 50's so that was all ok.

Yeah, the good old racist, homophobic misogynistic 50's - the good ole days.
And another thing, it's utter bollocks that there's a pervert on every corner, do you honestly think there are more paedophiles now than the 50's - it's not like it's something that's been invented recently. There were notorious paedophile rings in the 1960's, well documented at the time.

This idea that the world is going to wrack and ruin is a pervasive one, and people have been saying the same thing probably since we were living in caves. The truth is, the world is more equitable and safe now that it's ever been or at the least, no worse. You only have to go back one generation and the whole of Europe was at war, and it was just continuation of the norm, every generation had to go to war because of ridiculous notions of empire and jingoistic nationalism.

Balls. It's not blokes talking on a sofa, it's the heavyweight champion of the world, choosing to make a video and then distribute it. It's not a private conversation. I'm not offended In the slightest, but do I think he's a prat, I sure do.

This is just paranoia, and romanticism of the past. You still can play in the streets, there's just more awareness of threats to children. I don't think in terms of respect has changed nearly as much as people make out, if at all. And many teachers weren't respected they pretty much threatened the kids.

Well, people can complain about idiotic statements, they have a right to exercise. However, you can also ignore it.

It's not like there's many people out there who are following Tyson fury like he's got sound advice for the world.
