For me he's a good boxer with a massive reach, somehow I still think that if he faces a really agressive opponend, who accepts beïng his himself before hitting Fury, that he will lose anyway. I think even Wlad can do it, but the style he used last time (fighting from distance) is impossible against someone with a longer reach, like Tyson Fury.
Nevertheless, how amazing is it that Povetkin made it this far, he's not that heavy, he's not that tall, he got a very short reach and before Klitschko couldn't even hit that hard.

It's like describing Shannon Briggs as a 'brilliant' fighter when you actually mean 'garbage', relatively speaking.

If you're typing 'as', just replace it with 'than'. It really isn't hard.

Haye's difficulty is that he hasn't got anywhere to go, because the 2 BIG FIGHTS that he wants just aren't going to materialize anytime soon.

Anthony Joshua will dispose of Dominic Breazale next month and Eddie Hearn has already said that they want a voluntary defense before signing for the mandatory defense against Parker.

AJ has already repeatedly said that he wants to give Dillian Whyte a rematch, so I can see that fight happening (probably around September) before committing to his mandatory defense (say Feb '17)

And as for Tyson Fury, who can honestly say that they know what he's going to do?

Regarding Haye vs Briggs, I do think that they could both hurt each other, so it could be a more interesting fight than what some on here are suggesting.

Agreed. It will be fun while it lasts. Briggs knows his only chance is within the first two rounds.

Haye suggested recently that they were making it happen, but he really is dragging his feet! Why is he taking such large breaks in between fights? It seems so un-economical that he's getting in shape, knocking over a tin can, taking several months off and starting again. Get in shape, have 3-4 fights in 4 months, get your eye in, and then shape up a big fight. Does Haye really need 4 months off after 1 round with Mark De Mori?!

The consistencies in his idiot 'character' are that he uses "as" instead of "than" and says "opponend" instead of "opponent", champions Shannon Briggs and is purposefully ignorant about any division other than heavyweight (see "I have never heard of this Tony Bellew"). He knows how to use an apostrophe and his posts are otherwise grammatically correct mostly, and he's been picked up on that as/than thing loads of times and never responds to it. Did he make any money last time out? Promoting is only easy when you make a profit. It's not the money for old rope business some people think. For all we know, Haye may have spunked a fortune putting that last show on (or only made it wipe its feet cos he was paying buttons) and may now be struggling to work out how to make the Briggs fight pay. Just guessing.

Well I really have no idea how much money he made on the last few fights, but that's clearly not what he's working towards. He's working towards the golden egg of Joshua, Wilder, Fury etc.

For his comeback fights he should of fought on an undercard and not concentrated so heavily on promoting the fights himself. I think he's done nothing more than damage his reputation with the boxing fraternity, and probably not made the profits he was hoping for. Unfortunately for him he's competing against the Matchroom machine, which is putting on regular successful events which are hitting big numbers with the PPV. He's promoting a poor main event with a zero undercard. He could have, and should have had 3-4 comeback fights by now, got himself a half decent ranking, and be shaping up for a big fight. Instead he's fought two massively under-levelled fighters in 6 months and preparing for Briggs. Going nowhere slowly.
