Haye's last fight was Chisora in 2012 until his comeback this year. Best part of 4 years. And he looks much bigger, weighing in about a stone heavier in lean muscle.

Haye's clearly used his extended holiday from the sport to buff up to relaunch his HW career with the kind of size he needs, and may well have done it using whatever substances he wanted to use, since he wouldn't have been subject to any testing.

Bellew is at a huge disadvantage weight wise and no amount of "eating" could have him ready within the next few months.

Nobody was expecting Bellew to fight Haye though, so if Bellew is going to call him out like a clown then he should fight him at HW.
Well there's a lot of stuff out there that can't be tested for, but that's a different story.

I wouldn't expect the match to happen in the next few months, but sometime next year would be good. Bellew could gain 10 lbs in that time Haye may lose a few.

Anyhow in the HW division, there are far bigger weight discrepancies than Haye vs Bellew and they are the same height. So what if Bellew may give away 10+lbs by the time they fight? Haye gave away 37lbs against Chisora, 32lbs against Klitscho and 99lbs against Valuev.

I'd like to see the fight happen anyhow.

Yeah fair point regarding Haye giving up weight. Once you reach HW it seems to matter less though. Chisora was heavier than Haye but it's ineffective weight. Wlad however did have alot of size advantages he utilized.
Huck vs Povetkin is a good reference. Roughly the same height. Huck the superior boxer but looked like he just didn't have the bron at HW for his shots to hurt Povetkin, but Povetkin was hurting Huck. Difference is Bellew isn't even as good a boxer as Haye, he is inferior in every department from size to skill.

You're probably right, although it could get a lot of publicity - a rivalry out of nothing.

Bellew should have his hands full defending against the hard bastards of the cruiserweight division. Plenty of them. He should also be a bit more humble until at least he's beaten Drodz, whose injury/inactivity allowed Bellew the opportunity. Then he deserves his title.

And Haye clearly already has bigger fish to fry given this is one of the best ever times for British heavyweight boxing.

Hopefully Haye has been stung by the criticism of the poor shows, opponents and fights he's putting on. And instead of acting literally - that he'll smash Bellew's face in - perhaps he'll work on putting on better shows.

There is no other fight I could think of that I would enjoy watching more than haye v bellew.

The build up itself would be class

I'd pay double the ppv price for it as well

I also think it's an easy night for haye but I've been wrong before.
It's a better fight than the Briggs fight, which i am going to ignore and hope tanks completely.

I think it's been established that Haye's 'comeback' is a joke and he'll just fight scrubs, corpses and freaks until he gets his big fight which he will lose and then retire again. With that accepted, Haye Bellew is fine by me.

Only those who made the correct call should be able to do that.

Did you make the right call?

I really didn't have a clue who Bellow is, but his cruiserweight numbers seem to be oke. I don't hope his heavyweight rating and his cruisereight rating are the same number, otherwise Haye his boxrec rating might fly into the sky with a victory against this cruiserweight.

Not by people who didn't have the balls to take a stand with my comments before the fight

This is a joke, right?

I can still remember the rabbit-in-headlights look on Bellew's face when facing up to Adonis Stevenson's power, imagine the fear facing Haye

Was Bellew not banging on a year or 2 ago about some sparring session they had where he gave Haye all he could handle..... according to Bellew anyway.
It wouldn't surprise me if Bellow had said something like that.

In his fantasies, he'd have probably got the better Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman & 'Wilt Chamberlain' in sparring too!
He's brought it up again http://www.BS.com/bellew-i-kic ... ht--105187

Apparantly it happened in 2005, Haye had to pull out oh Mark Hobson fight due to the beating Bellew gave him  He reckons Adam Booth will verify his tale.

Haye would have obliterated Bellew at any stage of his career, and i hope it does not happen now. Haye needs to get on with fighting meaningful opponents and away from the likes of Briggs and Bellew.

Bellew and Haye would capture the public's imagination as there are both charismatic and good talkers, so it would go beyond the hardcore boxing fraternity.I'm not interested in old sparring stories, as sparring is sparring; it is not the same as a fight. My money would be on Haye to KO Bellew very quickly and heavily, but it would be an exciting build up and fight night atmosphere.

The only way Bellew would have the slightest chance is if Haye is to make the 200lb weight, as not many heavies have dropped back down to cruiser with much success.

But my money would be on a Haye blowout

Two days after he has won the belt and I'm already sick of the scouse bastard, hes going to be insufferable until he gets sparked.

So true.

Bellow will act as if he is the reincarnation of Joe Louis from now on!

No way this fight happens.

Haye is ripped and I can't see him getting much lighter.
Bellew is probably as big as he can get without the weight being detrimental.

Both understand how to use media and will continuously name drop each other to keep profiles raised.

More chance of Bellew-Fournier than Bellew-Haye.

Bellew hasn't got the minerals to take Fournier on in his Dominican Republic fortress. It's like fighting Hearns at the Kronk.

I wonder how long before Bellow starts calling out Anthony Joshua?

He might as well, because everyone else on Earth is.

Haye would absolutely smash Bellew. I want to like the guy because he is from the UK, but he is such an idiot. Given how easily he was dismantled by Stevenson at Light Heavy, a HW fight with Haye would be hilarious.

I wouldn't go that far. Haye though is a genuine world class fighter that weighs somewhere near two stones more than Bellew. He hits hard and is fast. He'd do a similar job to Bellew that Stephenson did. Bellew is better at Cruiserweight than he was at light heavy but he is still at that level that is a level below genuine world class despite being a title holder.
