the same problems are still there, every time the other guy came forward price somehow backed himself into a corner/the ropes with his hands low, he needs more work on his feet/balance and definately needs more work on his jab which he dosent seem to have any confidence in, a bloke that size should be controlling the distance better and busting guys up with the jab

Hopefully be a bit sturdier with the extra few pounds. Looked good and still a monster puncher. Hayes chin was always a bit suspect at cruiser but as a heavy he seems pretty solid. If Price can still go all the way.

Was Price draining himself like Haye was?

I don't think Price fattening up a bit will do much for his resistance.

I take no pleasure in saying it but David Price will never ever go above The level he is at just now. He has great power and can time his power punches with great accuracy at times. However, his jab is sub standard and far too tentative and lacking in dominance. If you are his height and can't dictate a fight with the jab then you've no chance. I said it from the John Mcdernot fight- if you rush Price he can't cope. He can't take aggression and unless he is catches you on the way in then it is only a matter of time before he is dropped again. As soon as he steps up a level again he will be on his back again.

Lovely guy, can dish it out but he has no self belief or jab and is never going to amount to anything above what he has so far.
