Darnell Wilson in 2008 in a IBF eliminator is about it.
that was a horrible fight. Flores was so negative, he fought like he was in there with a prime Mike Tyson.

What is wrong about Flores? He's not a puncher and he was outboxed by limited Shumenov not too long ago.

Yes he talks a good fight, at least.

In a bland kind of way.

but really you dont have to be a puncher to clip tony bellew into trouble. i hope im wrong as tony livens up the division, but.....this could be a hell of a good scrap.

Bellew has been hurt in several fights, but to his credit he's recovered to win in all but one case, and Flores isn't on the same planet as Stevenson as a puncher or overall as a fighter.

The last two times Flores fought decent opponents (40 year old Danny Green and Shumenov, both worse than Bellew IMO) he was reluctant to throw punches and didn't do nearly enough to win. I'm pretty confident that he's not going to press the matter enough to beat Bellew, and I don't think he has the power to land a hail mary, fight ending bomb either.

If Flores decides to stand and deliver.

But if he runs it could turn ugly.

It is a timid matchup.

Should really be arranging a fight with Drodz, who didn't lose the title in the ring, and who's hardly a beast himself compared some some of the sluggers and power punchers at this weight.

Well he'd better bring 15 fella's with flame-throwers with him - we all know that Boomer carries power and is willing to go out on his shield when he is fighting on PPV for his kids.

That may be a bit generous. At least Murray pushed Sturm and Martinez really close.....Flores was soundly beaten by 40 year old Green and blown up Shumenov.

Fancy Bellew to win this via mid-round stoppage.
Briedis on the undercard means that a fight with Bellew next looks likely.

Great fight. I'd favour Breidis to get revenge for all the Latvian plumbers Bellew showed his power to.

Think this could be a tune up to fight Drodz, one of the more mobile, less gritty cruiserweights out there.

It's a pity Usyk has gone down the WBO route, though I doubt Bellew would fancy a piece of the Cossack.
