It might of even been a good idea to of had it on later say Joshua fighting around 12.30-1am would avoided the football and would of put Joshua on at a better time for the Americans then had the Thurman/Porter on as part of the ppv and sold it as a double header.

Even today in the Scum - no mention of Joshua - Breazeale. A medium sized piece on Groves - Murray though.

This has disaster written all over it. I haven't even heard a casual mention it. Joshua will prob have a lot of his earnings on PPV sales, and surely there will be very much fewer than the Martin fight.

I don't know enough about it, but could Hearn and Sky lose money on this? I hope so. Surely no way #stayhumble would accept a lower purse than the Martin fight. Especially now he's 'champ'.

I wrote it in an Eddie voice! So not only did I cringe and almost vomit, but I also had to cut the original post short... I just couldn't stand it!

I`m a PPV whore. I can actually watch it on Viasat as part of my subscription, but they often have Danish commentators which ruins it for me. Thankfully 17 quid does not bother me and is a cheap nights entertainment all round.

Mates will come round and the rule is that they bring my booze as the cover charge. So I get the boxing and 36 large cans of smuggled Polish pish for 17 notes.

I don`t think that much of the card, but I hate missing boxing, so I always buy them. Looking forward to Eubank and Groves v Murray more than the AJ fight to be honest.

Viasat is great by the way, costs 16 quid a month for the "fight package" and it has all the big fights including PPV. This Saturday you get the AJ Card, Porter v Thurman, plus Deloach v Castillo. I can watch them live, record them or watch them delayed upto 4 hours after the finish. You also get all the UFC cards live as well.

Best thing is there is no subscription binding, so you can just cancel when there is a month with no good fights. UFC has original commentray and most of the boxing does as well. However when Quigg v Frampton was on and Aj`s last fight against Martin, I had to suffer through some Danish muppet screaming "oi oi oi" every few seconds.

No, but only because I won't be at home that night. We must be getting a bit spoilt if we are not prepared to pay £17 to see an entertaining Briton in a world heavyweight title fight (admittedly against an undeserving opponent). Just like any other product, if you don't think it is worth the money than don't buy it.

Though, I take your point, you could argue that Joshua is an undeserving champion. Nothing against the guy, but it's not an exaggeration to say that Joshua beat one of the biggest fluke champions in the history of the sport.

There doesn't seem to be any hype at all for this fight, the press conference on SKY SN earlier was very low key and I don't know why they put this on PPV at this time with everyone watching the football.

The papers on Saturday will be full of Wales v N.Ireland on Saturday as well as England v Iceland so can't see much last minute hype apart from Bazza's column in The Sun.

Only fight I'm interested is Groves v Murray and Eubank for the spectacle.

I buy every boxing PPV.

I expect the UK to get it financially better as the rest of Europe over time. Especially if they stop the immigration.

Didn't buy it tonight or even stream it. I've watched rugby and football all day in between a bit of exercising and cake baking!

Didn't bother in the end. Got a box of beer in, but was tired so didn't bother buying it.
