Wilders not at fault IMO but Ryabinsky and Povetkin have been inspired by a defamation lawsuit that Mayweather had lost to Paqcuiao (according to Purist) when Floyd accused Manny of doping. Team Povetkin wouldve thought about it before they decided to annouce their motion to sue Wilder. I think more will be revealed in weeks to come.

Personally I think Wilder is not guilty of anything. The fight was going to happen but then this.
Being dumb is not an excuse. Adults need to think when they open their mouth, especially when they got millions to lose.
Fair enough but think about this. How many boxers talk bad about their opponents?

You're absolutely correct and I doubt Manny got a penny from Floyd. Wilder wasn't the one that disclosed the testing. He isn't liable at all.

You kind of answered what was suppose to be your question as your first sentence. We were talking about Ryabinsky and Povetkin suing Wilder and as discussions go, it strayed a bit but still staying on the subject of doping.

You had to read the traded posts, that wouldve answered it for you.

Boxers call other boxers things all the time. Its nothing new.
Yeah, floyd called pacquaio a drug cheat and paid millions to him for it
I googled a bit and find no evidence for this.

90%?? Look, all of them have black hair, let's ban everyone with black hair!
That's basically why Russians are banned.
You should look it up on the news. Its old news now though that the Russians are having some issues getting into the Olympics due to a lot of them doping. Sounds like you didnt know..

Wilder is going to get millions. If Ryabinsky had any case he'd be suing VADA. That would be hilarious in court when the legal precedent was set in court by the defendant.

You can call your opponent a coward, dirty fighter, chinny, even a liar, but accusing him in taking illegal drugs is different. Smart people may hint that his opponent was unusually durable or something like that, but they don't call him a cheater.

VADA didn't call Povetkin a cheater. They just mailed results of his test allowing WBC to make a decision. VADA is absolutely not liable. The stupid guy is.

That's the annoying thing, just a few days ago there was a Russian showing a vid of a few amateur fights of Deontay Wilder. Wilder lost in one of those matches. All vids kept standing and this vid where he got KOed was removed within 15 minits. It's just sad to see how overprotected those Americans athletes are.

Again fair enough. As we know many boxers dont think when they open their mouths especially during heated moments. Lot of them say put downs for NO REASON. I think Wilder had a reason to call him a drug cheat. Tyson once said if he doesnt KILL Biggs it doesnt count, no reason for that.

..surely there's a fine line here...but once you OFFICIALLY get caught using the substance (the amount is of no importance because the first 2 tests were negative) and the fight was called off, I would argue that calling someone a cheat is hardly an exaggeration and by no means defamation...

Had VADA had guidelines in place, they couldve dealt with it a lot swifter and the fight wouldve continued. Instead they came across a circumstance that they couldnt handle so everyone waits for them. Fans gets pissed off and Povetkin and Wilder gets pissed off.

VADA banned a substance without no guidelines for. Lets not forget theyre still testing. Its VADA that are having difficulty doing their job.

That's the whole point, all the dumb people think Povetkin is guilty, but in fact he's innocent, Wilder and his team just made a succesful blackmailmediabullshitattempt and now all the dumb people think Povetkin did something wrong.

In the real world Povetkin is 100% clean, like he has allways been. That's why Povetkin will most likely win this lawsuit like I already predicted ages ago, he still didn't get the fight he earned, he's 100% innocent and his name is totally ruined. And when he's 98 year old there will finally be no excuse left to avoid the fight, but then his carreer is over and there's no money to be made left.
