Glad this seems not to be true- would probably be the worst thing that could happen in boxing right now.

What have you seen or heard to suggest any of the claims in The Mirror are untrue? Please reread the article and digest the content before responding.Terminator666 wrote:Glad this seems not to be true- would probably be the worst thing that could happen in boxing right now.

I am not ball deep in to anything mate unless you wanna bring your ugly mrs to find out ?Sklar wrote:Cigano, I accept that you're balls deep into the Team Fury ringpiece, but even you have to concede that UKAD's comment that they don't discuss these matters "until due legal process is completed" is indicative of this being more than a mere witch hunt by a gutter rag. I hope it comes to nothing as Fury is great value and a top fighter but you've got to be a cynic if you don't want to be let down.
Just sick an tired of seeing this war on Fury by the media , he's not received anything like the recognition he deserved for what he's achieved, the C0nts are trying their very best to smear him , maybe they should just take away his belts and give them to AJ ?? after all he's already had one of the 5 Fury took from Wlad given him
time frame .Sklar wrote:What have you seen or heard to suggest any of the claims in The Mirror are untrue? Please reread the article and digest the content before responding.Terminator666 wrote:Glad this seems not to be true- would probably be the worst thing that could happen in boxing right now.

UK anti doping would have said 'We are not aware of any problem with Mr Fury's previous samples' if there was zero to it.
The Mirror would be leaving themselves open to an absolutely huge libel case if they just made this up, and one they would certainly lose, there's no way any newspaper would do that, especially during the current climate with regard to newspapers printing false stories.

I'm sure you have no reading comprehension. I already told you the sample was taken in Feb/March of last year.CiganoBoxer wrote:The sample was taken in September 2015 if this was anywhere near a positive test he would have been banned by now, this is just a raised natural level and nowhere near the threshold of a positive test ,so this probably covers the Mirror getting sued .
I can't believe the mirror of all papers would risk running such a story with out a credible source for back up !
It's total bullshit and just another which hunt against Tyson Fury , no wonder the man wants to retire and leave this stupid game behind .
Re: Tyson and Hughie Fury failed drugs test ?????
Unless they want to stop people using that to find stuff out, that exact reply has actually been used before by them. You could try and contact them about a random athlete and see if the reply is the same.jamesmcdonnell wrote:UK anti doping would have said 'We are not aware of any problem with Mr Fury's previous samples' if there was zero to it.

Does anybody know if he's really injured his ankle ?
If he hasn't and he just needs an excuse to postpone the fight we can be sure there's a sh1tstorm coming.

The way I see it if your ankle was really really bad enougth f or you not to fight the last thing you would be doing is jumping up and down on it at some raveCaptainSpacerod wrote:Does anybody know if he's really injured his ankle ?

Yes, whenever I see the word "baffled" in response to this sort of thing i.e. Oh i'm just so confused by all this...rather than a vehmenant denial, it's always a bit of a giveaway... Didn't Big Daddy use the word baffled as well ..Clout wrote:Great postJimJim2009 wrote:One thing I've noticed over the years, when tabloids do this sort of thing, is they sometimes hold back on a bit of killer info/evidence, keeping their powder dry, so to speak. If the initial story prompts a hasty denial, they have a second headline story to run, which gives legs to the story and destroys the denial. It's interesting to see the short sharp response from meaty mick, you would expect a bit more, such as a press conference being called.
One thing is now clearer to me, I posted months ago on Tyson being disinterested and dispondent, and wondered why the rematch was taking so long to materialise. Considering how quickly Eddie arranged Joshua's first defence the excuses of delays by mick seem hollow - it can't take that long, really, and funnily enough it ended up at an obvious choice venue. If all of this has been hanging over them through 2016 it puts tyson's behaviour into perspective. It's hard to commit to something when there is a chance of a scandal breaking and a possible ban from the sport, no wonder he has been talking about retiring and why he doesn't give a fxxk.
Re: Tyson and Hughie Fury failed drugs test ?????
Exactly and amazed we are three pages in before that is said. Not that I believe newspapers do not print inaccuracies but the culture of days when you had Kelvin McKenzie saying: "Get me a story about the royal family and do not worry if it is true or not, we will deal with that after" are well and truly gone. Also the days of Piers faking pictures of soliders beating up Iraqis are well in the past.jamesmcdonnell wrote: The Mirror would be leaving themselves open to an absolutely huge libel case if they just made this up, and one they would certainly lose, there's no way any newspaper would do that, especially during the current climate with regard to newspapers printing false stories.
Newspapers now do at least try to go with accurate stories and I think they must have a credible source or at least feel they have enough ground to be covered.

Have you seen his latest Tweets? He's gone into Ricky Hatton mode x 1000.

People are saying they saw him badly twist his ankle at the rave, if the case then his injury is definitely legit, and not just trying to postpone the fight.

Re: Tyson and Hughie Fury failed drugs test ?????
Press and social media awash with stories of Fury at raves, buying £1000 worth of jaeger bombs for Brits in France, disrespecting a historic title by saying he does not give a shite, says he cannot be arsed to train, proud to be fat and then let me guess, we will have another IFL interview with Peter or John saying they are not given endorsements because they are travellers (the sort of traveller who does not travel and lives in a house for life).
Yeah, that is why you get no endorsements, nothing to do with the fact they are the exact opposite image of what any company should want to project.
Reminds me of that old joke in Lenny Live and Unleashed which I watched about 30 years ago. Lenny says: "I asked this girl out once and she said no, I asked if it was because I was black, she said no, it was because I was an ugly bastard"

Shame he wasn't there in Marseille. Can just imagine turning BBC news on to see Tyson chucking chairs and windmilling into the Russians.

He shouldn't have been at the race when preparing for a fight of that magnitude.BitPlayer wrote:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -rave.html

I can't believe the docile idiots on this thread that believe one shred of this rumour
No1 look at the time frame, the test was taken in feb 2015 ,you trying to tell me if it was anywhere near a positive test they wouldn't of banned him/let him fight ! ?
No2 he's out in France supporting England with all the fans at his side ,does he look like a man that gives a shite about what the mirror is trying to smear him with ?
He's a real champion a man of the people, a champion that's not scared to walk amongst the masses and shake hands and buy drinks , hate all that you want but he's a fornicating legend !

I couldn't give one toss if he's a man of the people a fighting man, blah blah blah, - and neither will UK anti doping.

On another note though, if he's done his ankle, shouldn't he be keeping his weight off of it in the early stages?
