I give Eubank Jnr absolutely no chance of beating GGG. The only advantage he has is one of hand speed but GGG has got such brilliant movement that he will neutralise that very quickly.

It may be competitive for 3 rounds but Eubank Jnr will eventually get beaten into submission.

GGG is a masterful boxer, his footwork, timing, judgement of distance, and punch placement are superlative. He's far more a boxer than a slugger. It just so happens he's also very heavy handed, every single shot he throws hurts. He can go through the gears and chew people up very quickly because he misses so few and lands with authority whilst controlling the ring.

Eubank Jr has very little chance, he has nothing like the skills to beat GGG, he has a great chin, and is aggressive and powerful, but he's going to be eating heavy shots from the 1st bell with his style. I can't see it ending any other way.
I agree with your assessment, he has little to troubke Golovkin with and i think he would take a sustained beating before being stopped. He needs more experience agaunst world class opposition, even then he wont beat Golovkin, but may fair a little better.

I keep saying it, but i find it odd the way Sr is pushing Jr in against Golovkin. He woukd have avoided Golovkin had he been around in his day, but he's all mouth now its not him who has to do the actual fighting, its his son who he's going to get plastered just so Sr can get himself an extra 5 minutes in the press.
Eubank Jr could have a 1000 years experience and would still lose, he doesn't have the talent GGG has.

I don't believe for a second that Sr is genuine, they are just using GGG's name to bolster Jr's brand.

I'd say thats what most people are thinking, but they have taken this so far they will have a hard neck backing out of it now. Its one thing doing something for publicity, its another wasting so many people's time the way they have done here, such as matchroom, golovkins team, sky and showtime etc.

As the article says, all thats needed is their signature....... lets see what happens in the comming days.

Saunders is arguably better than anyone on GGG's resume
I'd take Lemieux to stop Saunders.
I meant technical ability mate
Fair rnough. That's fair comment. :TU:

I told you Eubanks are crazy enough to want that fight. As for chances Jr has none. Eubank is a B level fighter. All he did since Saunders loss is to beat one European level fighter in close fight and 3 domestic level fighters easily. Those guys and GGG are world apart. I would give Eubank a chance against Jacobs, Saunders, even Lemieux but not against Golovkin.

Would'nt worry to much on who's, gonna win a fight, thats not gonna happen, Its a lot of free publicity ,, and the groundwork for a pullout is already been sown , It will fall apart when he wants twice the amount GGG wants , stating he's the drawcard

seems like he genuinely wants the fight to me, and good luck to him if it comes off

at least the lad likes to fight

can't we just leave it at that and wish him well?

Eubank's punches probably sting and an accumulation can give an opponent problems.

But he lacks the kind of firepower required to dent GGG.

He's getting halted in the mid rounds - but I hope the bookies see it differently !

If the fight happens, I'll remind you of these words.

GGG will absolutely destroy him, Eubank hasn't got the skills to provide a test.

ha ha ok, look i wouldnt put my house on eubank or anything but for me this is an interesting fight and no one seems to have anything positive to say about it, the leap in class is only the same as what fury faced against klitchko and look what happened there, anyway im at least expecting to be entertained by this fight and for me eubank is a live underdog and lets face it it doesnt always come down to the better guy winning it comes down to who is better "on the night" and there can be a world of difference between the two :TU:

Everyone has 2 arms, 2 legs and heartbeat. Thats hardly an argument. Skills he has not. Not enough to be a threat for a p4p fighter.

look your probably right but your not certainly right as its impossible to know, how do you know that eubank cant raise his game to compete at a higher level ?

Noting impossible but based on what I've seen its unlikely. He was not able to raise his game last time he fought at high level. Since then his level of competition went down again. And GGG isn't BJS either. So you see, Eubank needs miracle to win.

To defeat someone a league above requires a pixel perfect gameplan, that is executed down to the T.

Eubank Jr doesn't possess a team to give him that strategy - and their questionable team work has already cost him one defeat to BJS.

18 months has passed since that defeat, and we have witnessed Adam Booth join for one fight and then immediately leave. He'd be the only guy close to inventing a strategy to beat GGG and even then it would be a long shot. The opposition Jr has faced since that loss aren't better than BJS and so there's no basis to predict victory for me.

I forecast Eubank Jr will have success early doors whilst GGG feels what he's got. Then when GGG warms up and starts that wide stance, using his feet to put Eubank under pressure, then Gennady will close the show will with feints, soft punches - and then bombs to head and body.

Those who come to win against GGG get taken out faster than those who don't. He adjusts his pace to suit - and the faster you go the faster he will jump on you.

I predict a fully motivated GGG for this one and not the guy who's been going through the motions with club fighters.

It would be absolutely terrific to get Golovkin over here, really hope it happens. He could do a double-header - beat Eubank Jr and BJS on the same night!

Eubank is in for a slow beating.....great fight if it happens but Eubank throws a lot of shots like his hook with low hands, he is there for the counter. Golovkin will seriously hurt him. This time having a granite chin may not be a good thing

the arrogance and cockiness of eubank jnr will aggravate golovkin and this is what will be the undoing of him, eubank jnr will get punished :box:

Sounds like it's on for the O2 in September.

I give Jnr little chance but as usual the closer we get to the fight the more I will convince myself that Chris can win :D

I'll be right behind him, he will certainly be the underdog but sod it, fair play to him for going for it.

I want him to win and I hope he does
