Murray is a solid fighter, but that fact remains he has NEVER beaten anybody who it a decent level. His best wins are Max Bursak, Khomitsky and a 12 year old Blackwell.

Joshau beat reigning World Champ Charles "I walk this earth like a God" Martin, Tough as nails unbeaten Breazeale, Unbeaten GIANT Gary Cornish, Dillian "The Bodysnatcher" Whyte, Dennis "Hard Nut" Bakthov and Zumbano Love.

Plus he was the first guy EVER to stop kingpinn Johnson (something that both Klitschko and Fury could not do)

Joshua has not beaten anyone worth bragging about. He's probably ranked too high if anything.

I think losses should also be taken into consideration. If you lose at a very high level, do so by a narrow margin or by putting in a very convincing performance, then that defeat doesn't have to be taken as a negative.

I personally think Khan might be a place or two too high on this list but I certainly wouldn't mark him down for out-boxing a p4p ranked fighter then getting stopped by one punch, from a guy who is naturally bigger and a far bigger puncher than him. It's all about perspective

I'd even argue that, even if you thought Degale should have got the nod in their fight, it shouldn't necessarily go down as a black mark on his record, as stated above, Degale has gone on to show himself to be a genuine world class fighter

As much as I disagree with Horse's rankings of Murray in general, I do think he deserves to be above Joshua at present. From what I've seen, I fully expect Joshua to overtake Murray fairly quickly, but he really is untested at proper world level.

I enjoy your posts and I actually wish you would post more often. You're a guy who obviously knows his stuff.

I wasn't saying his win against DeGale was a negative. I thought DeGale won but it was a razor tight decision and I wouldn't argue too much either way. I agree with your point about defeats. Burns lost to Aurthur and it was an admirable defeat. There's always room for improvement in any sport.

What's the most impressive Dillian Whyte win? His career highlight is winning a silver international title, outside of the Joshua fight.
